Better than AirPod pros (for use in an Apple universe?) about to replace my standard AirPods which I loved. Any advice?

I got these to replace my Airpods that were incredibly uncomfortable for me. IMHO these sound better, are more comfortable and also the battery lasts longer.

Ps airpods work on android too.
I know they are completelly different compared with the wh1000xm3 but if i had to go for one of them wich one should i go for?
Id be more interested in sound quality, noise cancelation... cheeeeers

Been reading up on these and YouTube past few days...some good some not so good reviews. Only have my Liberty 2 pro, to go on so far. And these are very good...no hissing etc I have found a pair of these sonys new for 130 very tempting. ......

If you loved the AirPods you will probably love the AirPod pro’s. I have the Sonys but have tested them side by side and for music quality, the Sonys are hands down the better buy. Although they are not waterproof and are useless if you want them for any kind of workout or cardio session. If you are buying these for the ANC then look no further, its unbelievable, they’re the top rated wireless earphone in Stuff this week actually. Plus they’re a lot cheaper than the Airpods. If you aren’t interested in those things, the Airpods are, in my opinions a better everyday casual earphone. Flawless connectivity, light and comfortable, better for making calls etc, all depends on what you’re after. Bottom line, Sonys are cheaper, sound better and have unrivalled ANC.

Thanks. Sounds really important. Waterproof less so, as not a gym goer. Make lots of calls though. Hmmmmmm

Thanks for the tip. Which one do you particularly recommend?

These are the ones engineered for our headphones...but ..can't find a UK supplier online. eBay UK showing them as shipping from a Singapore based seller which is something I might go for:

In the meantime, I purchased the below Comply Foam tips which Amazon UK stock and they fit fine and are much more comfortable than the tips that come with the headphones...and because they're memory foam, they sit inside your ear and you don't feel like the headphones will fall out:

There was an update recently that improved the call quality. I don't have these (still on the M1 version), so don't know how much of a difference it made, but most reviews will certainly be outdated with regard that aspect.

Hopefully someone here can advise on if the call quality is acceptable now (subjective as it is).
These are £159 in Dixon's at Airports if anyone going away soon.

Would love to know what you think? Are they comfortable? I've been on the fence for while, but thinking about pulling the trigger this week as I'm passing through Stansted again.

I love them but am used to this style having previously had Bose Sound Sport. I've not regretted getting them, very handy charging through the case and a nice overall package. One simple thing I really like, if you take one bud out of your ear the music or video pauses until you put it back in. Nice touch.

Can you use one at a time? I'm so close to caving and getting them. Only thing I don't like is the lack of sweat resistance. But I guess I probably wouldn't use them for running I suppose.
I hardly ever listen to music, mostly podcasts and audiobooks.
I know these are overkill quality wise. Im interested in the noise cancelling.

When at work people are talking all day and sometimes struggle to concentrate and the nature of podcasts with their pause between talking makes picking up background noise easier.

1) Do they noise cancel okay even when there is basically zero noise (between speaking people in podcasts)
2) Do these cancel voices well or is it more constant noise (fan, AC etc)

You can use one at a time, it's the right one by default. Should be fine for running, might need to push them in a bit more. I've used them for short runs. One thing - The charging box is a decent size, bigger than ipod case. I usually leave that at home for running.

Noise cancelling is best for "white" background noise. Train or plane etc.

So you can't just use the left one on its own?

Yes, you can use one ear piece on it's own.
They have great sound, not had any problems with calls, but they are a little bit bulky for me. also disappointed that you can't connect to multiple devices at the same time

Go for the WH if you can. Far better, but these are some of the best true wireless buds you can buy. I'd have kept mine if they combined channels when using one bud, but they don't. So I returned them and went back to the galaxy buds (still got my WHs for when I need noise cancelling).

I'm looking at these via the costco deal for the same money. Mainly for flights and train journeys. I will also take calls on them

This is what I use them for, when i can't pack my WH Sonys. A good six hours battery and charge from the case. Do it!
