I will qualify that by saying I only used both with an iPhone and iPod, so cannot comment on non Apple devices.

Got to strongly disagree. Without alot of eq the airpods are pretty weak sounding. They are smaller and lighter with decent ANC but the Sony's easily have more bass, fuller sound and better ANC.

Also alot of reports of the Airpods pro having issues with rattling and clicking noise and failing ANC after a few months use. Apple will replace the faulty bud but the problem will return. There is clearly a design flaw.

Alot of people are going to ask, these or Airpod pros! I had the same and bought both. The Sony's hands down are better sounding and the ANC is far superior to the Aipods... The issue I had with the Sony's was when getting a call it would sometimes disconnect and that became really annoying hence why I settled with the Airpods for daily use. Oh also, the Sony's sit further in the ear as opposed to the Airpods which just sit in the tip of the ear canal which makes them less likely to fall out of your ear.
I got one for £24.99 does everything these expensive one's do...once apple scew up everyone with expensive release..everyone just follow

I prefer to speak as I find and we will have to ‘agree to disagree’ as my experience is different to yours, with the bass being spot on and certainly no odd sound issues from the AirPod Pro’s. But then the beauty of music is everyone has their own preferences.

Thanks but there is hardly anything you can buy that doesn’t have problem articles on the internet. It is full of reports, assumptions, false news and yes some truth. But as I said previously, I prefer to check/test things myself and form my own opinions and would urge others to do the same, otherwise people would never buy anything. It is this route that led to my initial comments and the AirPods Pro being superior to the Sony and nothing you have said or pointed too changes that.

Agreed. The Sonys are far superior in sound quality. Even my Soundcore Liberty Air 2's are. I liked the fact the Airpod Pro's were comfortable, and great for calls, though that was about it. The battery life was the deciding factor of me sending them back. Love my Sony's though
Constantly tempted but I own Bose qc20 and 25 so do I really need these?! Hmmm

Literally the only reason you'd want them is for the Earphones to be abit more portable. I'm in a similar situation asking myself do I wanna get Sony or Bose Headphones when I have Airpods?! You can see why its difficult to justify. Sorry in advance for being no help at all
