Well they usually 329 so decent price
A friend has these, they are *fantastic*. Way above my price range sadly.
HOT !
Great headphones if you don’t mind turning off the active noise cancelling. 2 pairs I had buzzed for 10-16 seconds in just the right earpiece. The buzzing is when the music changes track, you adjust the volume etc. Always happened when it was a quiet part of the music. Spoke to Sony and it’s a know issue if you use Bluetooth. So it might be fine with nfc

I've had no such thing, and I owned the MDR 1000s before owning these, could be product specific

Good deal for these from the UK, I did pick them up from Amazon.de a few months ago for £228, so keep an eye out on .es, .it, .de etc... as they do deliver to the UK for free/very cheap!

Pretty much the best commercial headphones money can buy at the moment.

The nfc is just to connect and save you pairing bluetooth manually it doesn't pass an audio signal.
Can't say I have the buzzing but then I haven't used nc long enough probably.
I usually use ldac but have paired with aptx and aptxhd as well as via an apple device. I sometimes get breaking up when using ldac but it's hit or miss.

I wouldn't say they are the best headphones I have and probably prefer my hifiman he400 and even senn hd650.
