I think this is the best price it has ever been on Amazon. IMO the noice cancelling on this beats that of the Bose QC35. Sound quality as ever is a personal preference.

Now down to £250.

I opted for the Bose QC35'S over these, but from a spec standpoint these are unbelievable.

I would definitely recommend trying some on before buying as these are quite fitted compared to the Bose, which fit well but are more roomy. John Lewis usually have some to test out if you go to a large enough store.

Heat added!

I returned QC35 II's - The Bluetooth was appalling kept getting drop out - was desperate to keep them and tried three pairs before I finally gave up. Fantastic otherwise but dropout was unforgivable.

These appear to be an excellent alternative - and have read their Bluetooth is better.

That's interesting to hear. I've had mine for 2 weeks and no drop outs whatsoever! What phone is that with? Were the headphones on the latest firmware? Shame they didn't work out for you either way.

Mine are the series I, not the series II.

I love the tech in the Sony's, but not keen on the touch controls and the fitting is a bit too close for my liking. Would be too warm for me in summer I think.
Think I'll stick with my VIctory and spend the spare £120 on something else :-)
I sold my Bose, and switched to these. These are amazing.

Bose were slightly more comfortable though, but these beat the Bose in EVERY other aspect.
How do these compare soundwise to Senheisser momentum Bluetooth anyone know?
I have the ABN 1000 and the wind issue outside is horrendous. These the same???

Did all of that - firmware etc - but Bluetooth was weak. Using it on a OnePlus 3T.

If you look at the Bose QC35 II Amazon 1 star reviews alot of those were Bluetooth complaints.
I have these headphones and they're amazing! The noice canceling is perfect! I get the train to work and they block everything out so i can just relax with my music.
Awesome headphones, better sound/construction than BOSE by a country mile, noise cancelling is just as good.

I agree, the Bose clamps lighter on your head/ears and has a slightly roomier ear cup. So a bit more comfortable. But the noise reduction is better on the Sony. Easily discernible difference. The sony feels a bit more solid in your hands. Although the Bose is lighter, it is still well constructed.
I know that people love the excellent QC35s, but these IMHO are even better. Brilliant headphones.
The biggest difference between them that hasn’t been mentioned so far is that on the QC35s you can use the noise cancelling without attaching a Bluetooth device whereas on these you can’t as they automatically turn off.

Which to some is neither here nor there but to others who wish to use them for silence it’s a big deal. Such as travelling on a plane and sleeping.

I don’t own either but expect a rash of QC35s around 20th of April and will be able to buy new for similar price or less.

I got a pair last year, Awesome headphones. I think I paid £350 so this is very hot
I’d warn everyone off the Sony’s, they crack, they’re so uncomfortable and make you sweat, Sony barely updates the firmware and their app sucks. The Bose are comfortable, they are sturdy, Bose update them with new features all the time like they added ANC settings finally.... plus their app is so solid. Also the Bose feel massive inside, the `Sony’s press your ear up against them.

Sony suck and hopefully they’ll be dead soon, everything they produce is *****.

Don't buy them used, I purchased new ones for £320 and had to replace 2 times due to noise cancelling module issue. Must've been a bad batch. Apart from this minor issue, the headphones are truly brilliant. Great ANC, BRILLIANT sound quality over BT (LDAC supported), very comfortable and great app for smartphones with another separate equalizer. Highly recommended, the deal is good too!

Well you don’t sound at all bias

I’m currently looking at these, the QC35 II and the Beats Studio 3. Price wise they’re all similar £250-£300 if you shop around. I need to go to a John Lewis or Currys, somewhere that has all 3 so I can jump between them quickly for testing.

I hope they flourish just to see you foam at the mouth. You wish for the whole company to die because you don't like one of their headphones?

Overreact much?
Bought these last week at £260.99 and so far worth every penny. Excellent build quality, sound and features. A snip at £10 cheaper!

I have a pair of QC 35 ii's and I like them a lot. I tried on the Sony's but did not like how it felt on my head. But I do think there are bluetooth issues with some of the QC 35's. I had the first gen QC 35 which had bluetooth issues, returned these to John Lewis and got the QC 35 ii's. These were even worse with dropping out than the 1st gen QC 35 that I had. Took them back and exchanged for another set of QC 35 ii's - and 6 months on these are perfect.

One other thing I will add is that while the QC35's do support pairing to 2 devices, such as an iPhone and iPad - never do this. The drop outs seem to happen far more often if you have 2 devices paired.

Unfortunately it might just be the 3t being crap at Bluetooth. My AKGs stutter randomly over Bluetooth unless I restart my 3t
I have two pairs of these for the family and they are great. The cracking issues were fixed for this version and having tried the Bose and many others these were the best for my ears.
Any good for gaming? Just judging it in terms of multi purpose use, thanks
Had / have 15 pairs of cans or more - bit obsessed. These are my daily drivers for commuting. Superb realxing yet detailed sound. Incredible NC, better than Bose I've had, Goldring, Audio Technica etc. Sound nearly as good as my Hi-Fi Man 400i open backs on a HRT II DAC with a Lehmann Black Cube clone amp.

Incredible price. If you can afford these, buy them. Especially from Amazon,

Can be. They have microphones on the outside to make the NC work, so it's inevitable really.

They are the second most comfortable headphones I've ever worn. App is rock solid for me on Android. LDAC on Oreo kicks ass. These things are very subjective - clearly my experience is the opposite of yours.
I've owned a pair for a little over a month now (I think). In fact, I'm wearing them right now on the train. They're fantastic. The audio quality and noise cancelling were far better than the Bose QC35 ii in my opinion. I tested them side by side in John Lewis and was much more impressed with the Sony headphones. I came from a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M40X headphones so sound quality was important to me.

Edit: Also, my understanding that the cracking being commented on by other people was an issue with last year's model of these headphones and has since been resolved with the M2. I haven't noticed any quality issued. They seem to be very robust.

I got a pair of the Sony WH-900N last week from Amazon for £99. I am quite confused over Sonys models though, so can anyone tell me what the difference is between both pairs?
I have these , much better than QC35s IMO
boom great find just picked them up
HOT.

My partner got me these for my birthday. Think she paid £270 just a fortnight ago!

Anyway, they are incredible. Better than Bose.
