The update to the Sony MDR-1000X that should (hopefully) have the cracking issue fixed.

I havent heard of the site but it seems to have good reviews on trustpilot/forums. Miles cheaper than anywhere else.

Lol-wut? £300 headphones cracking after days?

The MDR1000's were the best Bluetooth headphones money could buy, well I came to that conclusion after a lot of research and eventually brought them. The cracking issues is the hinge and it only happens when opening or moving your jaw around. It also improves with time, I did notice it at first but don't anymore.

Of course these new one may be even better, from the reviews I have seen they appear to have even better battery life (the MDR1000's are still excellent).

£285 is a lot of cash but we are talking sheer quality and functionality you don't see on other competing headphones.

"Available in 9 business days."

FYI you won't get them straight away but still a good price.

The company is mixed reviews on Facebook with over 50% of the reviews being 1 star. From what I can gather this company is based in Netherlands and the UK address is just a placeholder. I would recommend if you plan to buy from this company use Paypal or credit card.

9.1 on trust pilot from over 4000 reviews.
I’ve personally used them with no issues

So returns would have to go to Netherlands?

The cracking issue is actually a defect with the hinge (hairline cracks). Pretty sure the crack doesn't improve with time. luckily my pair has been OK despite being in the affected batch.
Maybe more likely if you have a big noggin.

Do not use these in the office. I have returned them due to terrible noise leaking on them sound is OKish

Oh really? I need these for office. Had the same issue with QC35 and returned them. I read similar comment on B&W PX although they get overall glowing reviews. Are there no good noise cancelling headphones?

Price now £309

I decided to take a gamble on the MDR-1000X a couple of weeks ago when they were on sale for £230. Is it only a certain batch that has the issue then? If so how do you tell if yours are in that batch?

I have both these and the QC35 and the noise cancelling is better on these in my opinion also they are much better sounding for music.

I wouldn't worry as Sony will sort it via warranty should you have the issue.

they dont isolate the sound too well what you need in the office is not the cancellation in my opinion its more of isolation

Just ordered these. Thanks OP
