This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

There's one of these in Birmingham New St station, they currently have 20% off all Sony headphones in their sale reducing the WH-1000XM3's down to £215 from £269.

I popped upstairs and got John Lewis to price match without any proof (Tech Express doesn't have a website), to get the 2 year guarantee.

I've had a quick Google and there appear to be more of them in London at some of the major stations...

Same - totally recommended. the noise cancellation is great.
I must admit I lost a pair of XM2's on the train recently and bought these as the replacement. At first I thought they might be defective as the noise cancelling didn't appear to be as effective, but I suspect they just needed time to bed in, after 4 hours on the train they did seem just as effective as my previous set.

How are they for movies? My only worry with bluetooth headphones are the delay in sync of sound and visuals

I used them to watch films and TV last night on the train home, synced perfectly with Prime, Chili and iPlayer

In Heathrow at Dixons they’re 229, where did you see them at 199?
I'm surprised this is hot when they usually go around 200.

You can get them here for less: hotukdeals.com/dea…e=1

Possibly because for an extra £16 you're getting brand new and, if you get JL to price match like I did, a two year guarantee. I had been thinking of holding out for an Ebay code but this price was close enough to my biting point. I'm not saying the Argos refurb price isn't good, more I saw this price in store and thought it worthy of people's attention
On to my second set of these headphones. Maybe just unlucky but both sets have a problem in NC mode. After using for 30 minutes or so I start to hear a flickering wind like interference noise. The noise gets gradually more intense and you can hear it through the music. First set was right sided, this set left sided. The noise disappears when NC is switched off. Forums suggest this has happened to others. I'm returning today to Amazon. Otherwise really like the product but not sure if I will buy again. Anybody else had similar problem?

Checked yesterday and the price has gone up to £229 at Dixons tax free. Guess the sale has ended with them.
Too bad they dont have a website so you have something to show at JL so you’ll be sure they price match
Yes I did think about taking a photo but thought I'd chance it first, and it worked

No discernible lag that I can tell. Lips to not appear out of sync when I’m watching dialogue. It Bluetooth, so I guess there must be some lag, but it’s too small to notice. You can plug the in via a lead that would bypass Bluetooth altogether if you do experience it. I tried it on a 2012 Mac mini and a 2015 iPad.

I checked the price whilst at work 2 days ago (£229) . If it was lower I would take a pic that you could possibly use, not sure if JL would accept that as a price match. Till the next time......
There was mention of Curry’s on the high street matching the tax free airport price on the deal link I posted earlier
Could anybody please post a receipt of this price so I can try a low price match?

I couldn't find one on their website, but eventually the JL salesman went away and got approval from his manager for the price match (it probably helped that in Birmingham they're in the same building).
