Nice find OP. I think after Bose this are the best ones.
£211.99 new from GdPrice.co.uk would be a far better deal

Had a look at the site you mentioned, which looks promising, but looks as if the headphones are imported. See review below.

Got a really good price on the Sony WH-1000M3 headphones, delivery took just over 7days which wasnt a problem. It was apparent from the packaging that the headphones were imported from Hong Kong but the headphones were in good condition. On powering up the language was Chinese but I was able to change the language using the Sony headphone app on my phone. The real problem is that the headphones should have Google and Alexa assistant built in whereas the imported set has a Chinese version built in which, according to Sony help desk, cannot be changed. If you need Google assistance on your headphones, don't buy from this seller. Other than this the headphones work fine.

Thanks was looking at ordering these. Will take a closer look.

GdPrice, Toby Deals and eGlobal have decent prices for new headphones, but they are all grey imports with no warranty. Some people risk it, but at this price point I prefer the peace of mind versus having something completely brand new.

That’s how I discovered they are imported. As mentioned below, you take a risk with imports and warranty.
I couldn't pay that much and them not be over ear.

Pretty sure they are over ear, just described incorrectly

Yeah, I would hope so too. So important and yet nobody bats an eyelid.
OOS
Maybe some of these could be people trying them against another headphone and then returning them again to a Argos store.

Assuming Argos still does a 30 day return policy and headphone aren't on the exclusion list. A credit card on a new month, a person could purchase 2-3 headphones from a local store. Listen for few days at home to compare and return the ones not wanted or all pairs. Not done it myself (I'd probably go to RS to listen to a demo pair or similar store with demo ones) but these refurbished ones could be rather new with little use and worth a go.

Just to keep in mind earlier in the year I saw John Lewis have these brand new discounted to around £222. Usually 2 year cover inc. with John Lewis too. Black Friday isn't far off and could potentially have some good prices. Depends how badly you need them.

I have bought a couple of different tablets from Argos eBay Store Grade A. One didn't have the screen protector on the tablet or in the box. Both were otherwise in excellent condition. One was for my Mum and the other was for me.

Matter of opinion that, personally i find the Bose lacking in sound depth and the latest ones are fugly.

Agreed, according to most reviewers these are better, even perhaps than the new Bose model.
Bought from eglobal way back when, and they've been solid. Google assistant compatible.

Fyi, I was told on here and various forums not to update the software as the newer software had poorer noise cancellation. I'm not sure whether that's true but haven't updated, because if it ain't broke...

It's a pair. One for each ear. A pair of headphones. Do you say a car has wheel? A man wear shoe? Stop sounding like a complete idiot because you think you are cool when you ain't, not even slightly.

What are you on about? I was just suggesting someone may buy a Sony and a Bose to try and then return one or both. As an example. Which could be why Argos has a lot of grade A stock to shift. Could though be some with damaged boxes or similar making them Graded stock.

Cool. I'll post an update when I get mine on the condition, hopefully it is as new as Argos describes.
Bought mine from The Sony centre refurbished , great headphone but the mic on my pair is extremely quiet and unusable. Make sure to check call quality early on. There are a few reports of this on the internet. Not being alarmist, I will definitely be swapping mine for a working pair.

Thanks will definitely check this. How did you even manage to get one from Sony Centre, they are usually gone within minutes!

Just asked in the store, didn't realise I got lucky!

Strange comment. Maybe you should find out what the XM3s are first? Also, plenty of on-ear and in-ear headphones go for this much and even higher. Purely a matter of personal preference.
Just received mine, looks brand new as far as I can tell, with all the accessories. Sound is great, yet to try phone calls.
