Had a pair delivered from John Lewis online on Friday. Will they refund the difference if I message them or should I just order these now and return my current pair?

Their CS are usually pretty good, worth getting in touch to save the hassle of returning

Excellent headphones
I'm guessing the price of these is going down because of the v4 coming soon??? I've got v1 of these so wanting to upgrade...
Anyone know if they are going to upgrade the wi-1000x (the neckband version of these)?
I returned mine because the mic was terrible, it's a shame because everything else was great.

It might be luck of the draw but there do seem to be quite a few complaints about it - just something to keep in mind if you intend to use them for voice comms as well as listen to music.

If other people have them and have no issues with the mic that would be good to know as would give me more confidence in reordering a pair.
£255 on Amazon UK now for black or silver

Don't waste your money, get the Bose QC35 instead which has superior sounds and can connect to two Bluetooth devices

Returned two pairs of QC35 II... Sound kept jumping due to poor connection (tried on multiple devices), sound quality nowhere near as good as Sony + Noise Cancellation also better on Sony. No brainer

Actually the Sony is better for sound and noise cancelling. And pushing a couple of buttons for Bluetooth is hardly a bind
I wish i had the black ones. I like my cream/grey ones but i love the black

I'veHeard the same complaint from a colleague. I'm also looking for something like this but with a good mic for teleconferences etc.
I would buy these but I'm tight.
Brilliant headphones
Sound quality is amazing
Grabbed a pair for £190 refurb from Sony outlet, 12 months warranty.

When they come in stock they'll appear here: centresdirect.co.uk/css…xm3
If you're on Android, try Viper4Android app to truly get the best out of these headphones. Incredible sound once calibrated correctly with that app.
The price has gone back up again.

I had the same problem, turns out on Bluetooth it does some battery saving and turns down the quality. If you use the AUX cable the mic sounds way better, use it everyday on my laptop
