Description

Introducing the Sony WH-1000XM3 premium wireless noise cancelling Bluetooth headphones, packed with intelligent technology and clever design to give you the ultimate listening experience on-the-go.

Sony's pioneering noise-cancelling technology* is taken to the next level in the WH 1000XM3 with the introduction of the QN1 processor. This processor boosts the range of frequencies from which noise-cancellation occurs, giving you greater control over the sounds you block out you want to while listening to your music. It's never been easier to completely immerse yourself in sound, taking the bustle out of travel and commuting.

The battery life of the 1000XM3 is an incredible 30 hours, so you don't need to worry about constantly charging your headphones and can head out on long journeys with confidence of battery not running out. If you do run low on battery, the improved quick charge functionality gives you 5 hours of playback time from just 10 minutes charging - so even if you do run out, you'll have your headphones back up and running in no time.

Hope it helps someone.

I really don't what all the fuss is with these. Yes they have great NC, …I really don't what all the fuss is with these. Yes they have great NC, but the M1 had better since that god awful FW update on the M3, and the sound quality is average at best. I sent my M3s back to Amazon and kept the Sennheiser Momentum 2.0s. Granted the NC is not as good, but the SQ is far better, and the NC is good enough for travelling.

I haven’t tried the momentum’s but pretty much all the NC headphones I’ve tested are all mediocre sound quality. The Bose are just awful. You can pay £30 for a pair of wired phones and get a much nicer sound.

Only the silver variant is £201. Black version is £218 approx. Good find!
I'm travelling long haul soon so had a look at these as the hype beast was massive on them. Yeah the NC is good but just the same on the Bose to my ears but oh my are the huge on my head. Makes me look like a cyberman lol
Isn't a new model expected very soon? It is the only thing stopping me from pulling the trigger on these headphones.

Even if a new one comes it’s not going to go down to these price points right away, thing with technology is always going to be likethis, the latest model will be more expensive etc. Just my 2 cents on it.
Anyone know if you can load the old firmware if required?

Yeah. Might be difficult for the less tech savvy but I did it and worked great. XM3 downgrade
NC on these is slightly worse than the newer bose, however, I much prefer the sound signature of Sony.

Very true. I have a pair of XM2s and have tested most others and it does make me laugh reading the reviews that rave over the "amazing sound quality".

Like you say, there are plenty of wired sets that are far superior. For £100 odd, you can get a set of studio quality Beyerdynamics which are in another universe in terms of accurate sound reproduction.

What's the wrong in the latest firmware?

Makes the NC far less effective. Really annoying.

Always makes me laugh when audiophiles come claiming how 'awful' the sound quality is on these.

Absolute rubbish.

I usually use google chrome and that auto translates - but there is also the option to go to your account and change the language settings to English. Hope that helps.
My gf has these and their nice but I much prefer my qcy wireless buds. Easier to keep on your person when ever ya need em.

These have a real nice quality, but price between the two, I'd go for my qcy any day off the week.

i purchased these yesterday, paid a little bit extra for next day delivery so they arrived today. Excellent n/c and really good sound, can't fault them.
I wish people would realise that they test headphones first before buying as everyone's preferred hearing can differ. Hence why some rave about different makes of headphones. People are never going to reach a unanimous decision on them.

Compared to wired headphone at a fraction of the price they are nowhere near as good. Awful may be an exaggeration to some, but so is saying their views are absolute rubbish.
Enjoy your laugh

Very few people could genuinely distinguish the two without listening to both one after the other, and even then it is more of a preference than actual fact.

Not to mention the other benefits of wireless headphones.
