With eGlobal I think you should assume no warranty. Sony won't honour it as it'll be a grey import, so you're then relying on eGlobal customer support... which from all I've read is non existent.

Edit: I'm not saying this is a bad deal, just that you need to weigh the saving against likelihood of the headphones failing (which is probably slim).

If you use the code CCHKOUT5 then you get another £5 off. Takes them to £196.99.

A price you won't regret paying. These are amazing
Using them rn. Don't update them. Battery life might be better but the noise cancelling takes a hit
Is there much latency watching Youtube when paired to a PC?

You may not get a choice, the ones I got were already on latest firmware. Though they were from Dixon's travel..

In any case the nose cancelling is amazing in the office, which is 99% of where I use them. Was excellent on the flight too

I must be getting old. I can still recall the days before smart phones had been invented, social media didn't exist, nobody wore headphones in the office and everyone got on with doing actual work. It was bloody awful TBH.
YOU WILL GET NO WARRANTY. Anyone suggesting you are getting a warranty from Sony is lying. You may aswell buy from ebay as you will get UK stock and get them alot sooner. Eglobal also do not respond when things go wrong - they have never responded to any emails complaining about anything I've ever sent them and didn't even respond to the Paypal case I had to open. The worst seller you could buy from.

OK but do you seriously think those would be comparable to the Sonys?

New version coming out to beat the Bose 700 headphones?
Got this for 210 on eBay a few days ago. Well worth the money!
Why buy this when you can get an Onkyo for the same price or less?

How can you compare the Sonys to an unknown brand that sounds like a yoghurt

If you want UK stock, 12 months warranty and don't mind paying £32 for Sony refurb and Silver colour, Argos have them...

Yep looks like they have deactivated it. Was working earlier on.

Voted cold cause dodgy seller who should be banned
Just to let you guys know that amazon.it is selling it with delivery to the UK for 232£ and you won’t have any problems with warranty.
EBEP5 working but CCHKOUT5 not. EBEP5 is only £5 off not 5%
Also showing as 212.99 now, which might be where I'm getting confused

Yeah, I think it's because the price has gone up. It's 212.99 now
Thought it might be helpful to share my experience of buying these headphones from eGlobal Central UK: ordered on 15th Sepetember; arrived 10 days later on 25th September.

Packaging & product looked, felt & sounded just like same product I’d had demonstrated in Curry’s PCWorld.

Whilst there was no serial number to be found (as per Sony’s helpful online advice), I was still able to register it on the Sony website without one. When I queried this with eGlobal Central UK, they promptly emailed me back with the following advice:

“Please note that all our products are imported goods and will not come with manufacturer’s warranty but instead we will cover the warranty through our own company.”
See: eglobalcentraluk.com/war…top

Help this helps others make informed choices.
For me personally, due to the significant cost savings & service so far, I’d be happy to buy from these guys again.
