for £22 more don't think it's worth it and might even be in worse condition than Amazon's 'Used-Like New' where a lot of the times the items have never been used at all.

I would prefer to pay an extra £22 for 10 months warranty and also the fact they have been inspected by Sony !

Amazon Warehouse items come with a 12 month warranty.
Bought these for £86 from amazon warehouse a few months ago, very happy with them.
How does this stack up against say... a £40 pair of Anker or MPow headphones?

You are incorrect, check with them via chat if you don't believe me. All their Warehouse items come with a 12 month warranty.
Do products sold on Amazon Warehouse come with a manufacturer’s warranty?
No. Used products generally do not come with a manufacturer's warranty but all of our items are backed by Amazon’s standard 30-day return policy, and a 90-day return policy for Renewed items.

Do you a screenshot of the online chat with Amazon?

No, I don't sorry, but it only takes a couple of minutes to check it.
these keep going up and down in price £70 - £99 brand new

I Have the blue pair bought at £80 in currys when they had a lot of stuff on sale or reduced a few months back

they are good but noise cancelling is pretty basic it works but if you really want to use noise cancelling other than on a plane then these may not be for you

I would rather get some new ones with a Sony warranty rather than some janky used ones from Amazon warehouse i wouldn't want to be wearing them thinking that someone might of sweated in them before me
The noise cancelling on these is so ineffective they might as well not even have it, I wore them in the street for about 10 minutes and heard so much wind noise I returned them the next day and bought the WH-1000XM3
Does 30 days return policy also applied to Amazon warehouse used items?
Bought these for £71 brand new around Christmas. Good headphones with impressive battery life. Noise cancelling is non-existant.

Don't forget the wax, or microbes you might pick according to legendary @sam_of_london

I suppose you meant that these are not ideal if you want to cancel airplane rumble: the real, ultimate NC test - few budget cans pass it, if any

Strong contenders, MPow probably best NC for money, Anker great all-rounder, Sony has better BT codec for music if your source device compatible, but weaker NC

Thanks. Surely the sound is better from the Sony's though?...even if the noise cancelling isn't good.

You're welcome. Yes, Mpow doesn't mention high-quality codecs on their product pages, so I suppose not as good on paper sound-wise, though they have more expensive models.

Sony worth buying if you have a phone/player that supports aptX HD, otherwise Anker offers better value for money and AAC compatibility -

so Sony doesn't support AAC?...how are these Soundcores by Anker for £37.99? - see they are Amazons' deal of the day..

Yes it does too. That's Anker's best model sound-wise, Space model has better NC but worse sound. That price for about 20h only, but it has regular promotions. I think at that price very difficult to beat value-wise.

Is Sony worth £30 more? Probably not as NC is weak, however I say it again, if you can make the most of better codec (with compatible device) then it'd make some good sense imo to spend more - Sony Connect app also worth having

I had concerns after reading comments about noise cancelling. Here’s my quick review after receiving them:

1. The build quality is good.
2. Sound quality and app are great (better than my anger sound cores)
3. I have a big head and they fit comfortably.
4. Noise Cancelling - I have tried them in the car and when music playing at low volume they block out the road hum and car radio which is great. In a shop they were great too as well as walking alongside a busy road. I can also hope that expect that they will do an equally good job on an aeroplane.

I have done a side by side with my cheaper Anker Soundcores which are good enough. These Sony’s have a better sound quality and I also like the fit of them better.

Would have been good if they came with a protective case. However, for this price I would say that they are a good buy. Sound quality is good and I am happy with the NC given the price.

Battery life is ace.

Hope that helps.

Also meant to say that the controls are a great feature too. Very tactile and much better than the soundcore
It seems all reviews are wrong, and these are great NC headphones. I'm not persuaded that easily by one voice, when the experts are saying otherwise.

Basically don't expect at this price point what Sony's own xm3 model only delivers above £200... it's not rocket science

The question is are they good for the money?

Do they let you listen to audio with reduced outside noise? Yes
Do they do this as well as £200 pair? No.
If you don’t have audio playing can you hear external noise? Yes.
Is the sound quality good. Yes (very).
Are the better than soundcores? Yes

Are they good for this price? I would say so, yes.

Yeah we know all that, they should sound better than Anker because they cost double the money (brand new, these are used) but that is not clear yet to me; it's even less clear if they're better value for money

At £58 Like New, they looked a good buy though, voted hot long ago - no longer available at that price, OP should expire

Anyway, got better things to do than monitor your deal, plus nobody pays me for it. Good luck

If you tick the ‘Like New’ box, which it doesn’t seem you’ve done, you’ll see several at £72.14 sold by Amazon, which is the price before the 20% off....have better things to do as well but seems you are spreading misinformation that the deal is expired.

That is really helpful, for whatever reason Amazon doesn't list sellers properly by price, low to high.

I'm not in the business of spreading misinformation willingly, on the contrary I'm in the opposite business of finding out the truth, and guess what, nobody pays me for it. HUKD threads full of paid-for comments by sales reps...

Apologies for the honest mistake, Amazon could have done better imo, and maybe your link too

I did actually have the link pointing to the ‘Like New’ items when I originally posted the deal but a mod seems to have changed it then to point to all items, perhaps so that the ‘Used - Very Good’ and ‘Used - Good’ items were also visible.
