These or Bose QC35 MK II?

I'm in the same predicament although every YouTube review I've seen says the XM3's all day unless you really really want u we comfort then arguably the QC are slightly better. Sony wins for sound quality and noise cancelling

Just got to find some at a decent price now! Same in not travelling
I just called up their Luton branch, 4-5 in stock. Probably will bite the bullet on this one..but I was wondering if its cheaper somewhere and could be price matched perhaps

I got some from the Sony refurb centre for £189 in early December. Currently no refurbs in stock but they go in and out of stock: centresdirect.co.uk/css…xm3

Mine came like new with all accessories and in perfect condition. At £189 the XM3s are unbeatable...

Buy a fully refundable ticket, go a few hours before the flight, buy the headphones, come out with some excuse, cancel the ticket.

Airport parking going to cost way more than savings
im flying back into heathrow on tuesday, anyone know if I can buy these on the way back in?
Would Curry's do a price match on these?

Is this a VAT free/relief price for international/non-EU flights or was it available at this price for domestic flights as well?

From my experience all you see is the cosmetics, none of the other shops.
If you can wait for CES in Jan there has been a strong rumour that XM 4's are due out. If that happens it will start to have an impact on the XM 3 pricing.

64gb micro SD card £45 at Dixons Manchester airport and £25 in Frankfurt airport. Glad I bought it from a UK website for around £10. Sandisk by the way

I have the Sony's and they are extremely comfy. Everyone who has tried my headphones on instantly comment on how light they feel that they are very comfortable. Also about how good they sound

What terminal?
Hehe when I put deal from Dixon Travel for Ipad Air for 429£ on Birmingham Airport went to - 200
What's the returns policy? Do I have to wait until I'm taking a flight again to return them if they're faulty?

TBH the implication is that it's a VAT refund because its an airport store, in which case anything less that 20% off still feels more expensive than it should be.

Basically they're not adding VAT but then charging 5% more

I just don't get who would buy expensive tech from a shop you can't get back to.
You would have to be financially comfortable enough not to care about potentially losing 200 quid on faulty goods, but if you're that financially comfortable then the 30 quid discount doesn't mean much to you. So why would anybody risk it?

These are all valid points and fortunately I’m in a position where I travel fairly frequently at the minute. I was offered a 3 year warranty for about £30 which covers water damage. I was also told that if the XM4s were released then they would replace them with those although I’d read the small print before relying on this- I didn’t take the warranty.

I’ve also taken a photo of the back of my receipt below which might help someone.39531500-lxavt.jpg
Yes that’s correct, it was an insurance offered by Dixon’s Travel.

Thank you for the clarification, and for a frequent flyer like yourself it probably DOES make sense.
Good of you to attach the additional info!
Wasn't trying to be snarky, just different worlds.

You can return them to Currys or PC world if they are faulty, as they are part of the Dixons group.

The £239 ones are brand new. The periodically get refurbs in at £199 and £189. They get posted on here some of the time, but the stock goes in and out quite quickly, especially if it gets some heat on here.
Does anyone know if the 7% Curry's vouchers people can get through their work are goood for Dixon's Travel (given they are both DSG Retail brands I believe)?
Just reserved a pair at Gatwick for collection next weekend. Thanks for the heads up - £40 saved
just saw these in Luton today, still have loads of pairs left. I have a set of Sony H.ear on 2 that im happy with but I love these, the noice cancelation is second to none. i was so tempted to buy them at such a great price
Hopefully the XM4 will be coming out soon (CES 2020!!!!!)

is replacing the XM3s with XM4s part of some kind of deal? They are meant to be getting revealed this week (hopefully lol)
Or can you just hand them back within 21 days and pay the difference??
I am flying out of T5 on Monday and hoping that the deal is still live.
Will post an update here.

Not worth it mate. I passed them at 200 at Dixons Luton. They'll be sub 180 within 2 months.
Yes I thought so too. Am going to the US so will check it out there as well otherwise will wait for the next sub-200 deal.
