A great party speaker and cheaper than anywhere else by £20. Really good sound quality featuring extra bass. 20W speakers (Inc built-in sub woofer). Features LED lighting too with several modes. Connects via Sony app to all music apps on your phone e.g. iTunes, Google Play Music, Amazon Music, Spotify etc. Connects very easily via NFC or Bluetooth. Built-in rechargeable battery lasts 12 hours, charges via USB cable to mobile phone charger or PC/laptop or portablr charger. Waterproof IPX5 rated so it can go to the poolside, beach etc. I bought tonight in store at Tesco Extra Swansea Llansamlet, has also been spotted in other stores. Next cheapest I could find is £59 at Richer Sounds - it's listed at £49.99 in Currys but out of stock. It's £100 on Sony's website!

Nice one; that's a very good price @KingCampo
Might be best to add which store to the title, as reduced to clear items are store specific. Thanks for posting.
I know the west Bromwich store had two of these the other week. Was tempted but didn't know how good it was ?
Anyone know how this compares to the Anker SoundCore Boost?
The battery life disappoints

They reviewed the Anker Soundcore 2, it's a lower model than the Anker Soundcore Boost.

You're right, sorry. Though I still think £39 for the Sony is a better deal if you can find one. I'm impressed with the quality and power of sound you get from it. Looks good too.

Use this interactive database in your desktop / laptops browser, (doesn't work for me on android)
switcher.oluvsgadgets.net

Select the Soundcore Boost in Player A and SRS-XB20 in Player B.
Listen on the best headphones you own and switch between players to get an idea of how they compare.
