OMG they still make these?? With mega bass too.

Old skool!

erm, how much.

I would want £23.79 to scrap it never mind buy it lol

I prefer minidiscs

I can still see the point of this, and it is a good deal if you still have a massive cassette collection knocking about.
A lot of purists still say analogue tape recordings are better than mp3s.

What's a cassette?

i have a mini disc and 2 x sony walkmans which cost me over £100 new. tenner if anyone wants them. lol

I WANT YOUR MINIDISC PLAYER !!!!! < actually serious

The sound quality of this would put any MP3 player to shame.

Must have reached 88mph.

Like something out of a museum. Strange to think these were cutting edge not that long ago!

I bought one of these 10 years ago! I put mine in the bin when CD's came about lol

Wasn't Play.com knocking these out not long ago at £8.99 or £9.99?

It may have been this deal 2 months ago for £10.99 but are £18.99 now, but that walkman does not have a radio.

this big chunky style were around £20 about 9 years ago.

Got my first Sony Walkman around the end of the eighties, which was eventually replaced with another one that had auto reverse (no need to change the cassette over) doesn't even compare to my 160gb ipod but my God it was THE bees knees then.Have some heat just for old times sake.

Mostly, when talking about tape sounding better than a digital source, it's normally a reel to reel tape that is being referred to.

That is complete nonsense.

Even if (& that's a very big if) the tape sounded better on it's first run, the quality would degrade slowly over time.

A Sansa Clip+ would put this to shame on any & all levels.
