2700mah battery for a phone this size though. I know Sony do decent battery life but this is pushing my faith a bit.
seems cheap going to check out the spec
This isnt their flagship range, is it?
Go for the Huawei Mate 8 over this
looks ugly
"Unlocked Mobiles" Reliable seller? any one used them.

Check out the new Xiaomi Mi Max, which is similar size but with 4850mAh, this beast gives over 9hrs SOT.

Careful guys, looks like a different phone at Very - they are selling the "XA", whereas the OP's posted a deal for the "XA Ultra".

The XA has a 5 inch screen & 2gb ram, whereas the XA Ultra has a 6 inch screen & 3gb ram

Oh I see that's annoying. Cheers man
I don't get the 16gb for so many phones, 32gb microsd is incredibly cheap and android annoyingly can't use the external memory well enough for manufacturers not to make 32gb a standard... Especially those who fill them with bloatware, 2 games and you're full. I've a Siswoo r8 which I'd not recommend but its got 32gb & 3gb etc... All for about £150... Were not moving forward from a few years ago!!

Seems to be 5' one...
Maybe time for Sony to give up on phones.

Yeah the site is … Yeah the site is safe.http://www.scamadviser.com/check-website/unlocked-mobiles.com

thanks
Does not say what 4g bands it has got. I do like Sony phones and used to have Xperia ultra few years ago. But if it is Chinese model with TDD Lte you would all be having a Sony branded lemon in your hands.
Not sure about 2 day battery life seems too little for me I do rate the camera on Sony phones got shown holiday snaps taken on a Sony cast to a TV and it took some phenmominal photos for a phone camera
If you want the Xperia XA it is cheaper on the original site at £199.15
240 on amazon too, pre-order in black
6 inch phone, yawn more like a **** tablet.
Very.co.uk says pre-order is for July 5th
amazon is 20th June

Maybe true, they announced their new flagship X series back in Feb, still not on market yet as today, while Samsung has sold millions of their Galaxy S7/Edge phones
I've just ordered the Galaxy A9 Pro for £70 more and for that extra £70 it has an octa-core Snapdragon 652 (similar performance to last year's 810 minus the overheating), 4GB RAM, 5000mah battery, 6" 1080p sAMOLED screen, S7-esque metal and glass build, f1.9a 16M camera, 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box, 32GB storage, SD slot etc.

I just think this Sony XA is vastly overpriced for what you're actually getting.
I remember when Sony used to be

Phones are boring now arnt they ?

Used to be kind of exciting but now they have plateauxed.

The top range phones 2014 are still great, my s5 and z3 compact will do for another year or two.
@BennyBrick5. Where did you order from? If you don't mind.
I've had many phones and I still miss my xperia z2, the speed, battery life, and build quality were superb, not to mention the amazing camera and the software was one of the nicest non stock android builds i've used.

To put this into perspective i've owned the HTC wildfire, nexus 5, LG G3, xperia z2 and now the oneplus 2.

Everything about this phones seems great to me, the style colour etc is amazing however the processor is a little worrying, only because my familiarity with media tek is 0. However I trust sony have made it a great phone, the only thing it's missing in my eyes is an IR blaster like the lg g3 had, it was great fun and surprisingly practical. However a major drawback is no nfc, we finally have android pay after all. Finger print sensors are over rated and nat the moment not very useful, at least on my Oneplus 2 that's how I feel.

Heat added and hopefully one day I will own one if I can sell my OP2 for a reasonable price!
Looks quite interesting, basically the new version of the C5 Ultra. I'm currently only looking for 6" upwards but I'm probably going to go for Huawei.
Wish Sony would announce what they are doing with the Xperia X Performance in the UK!

I don't mind sharing at all. I ordered it from 2buy_mobiles on eBay. £370 for the white or gold models, £375 for the black. I've ordered from them before and they're good.

Just search for "galaxy a9 pro" on eBay and they're the only UK based seller who stocks them.

just had a look, they are chinese version. So, I will wait for Uk version.
They should make a z5 ultra. I loved the original but was let down by absence of led flash

Totally agree... Sony are very bad at keeping their customers informed and supported.

I have a Z3 Compact Phone which was one of the last ones of the big players to get Lollipop in the UK and its looking like we will be the last to get Marshmallow. Its annoying to keep waiting and waiting... To annoy users in the UK who have SIM free phones (ie not tied to any particular network) Sony make them the last to get the update. Vodafone, O2, EE, 3 have already given their customers the update.. And I thought the unbranded ones get them first. Frustrating and annoying!

The worse thing is that no one even tells the customers... Their response is "How longs a piece of string??? You'll get it when we feel like and we don't know when we will feel like rolling it out!!"

What a pathetic way to treat customers. Shame on you Sony!

I agree I think the major companies really mishandled things by locking down the boot loaders and invalidating warranties , just killed the enthusiast tech crowd that was creating all the excitement about smartphones. And then Google removing Sd card usability, without any warning . If you betray your customers they remember simple as that.

This isnt their flagship range, is it?

X performance is flagship... X is their standard top end model, gold standard if you will and xa/xa ultra is superr mid randge..this is the best to go for if you want Sony RN.
