hehe, i'd like to know that too - i doubt it because its a subscribed service broadcast when the match kicks offs, but im unemployed and cant really afford to pay to listen to the tricky trees taking a hiding most weeks ;[

also what i'd like to know is, is htere anywhere you can lookup how good your reception is likely to be [like freeview for your tv] as ive bought one of these a few years ago and i couldnt pick up but about two stations in the house so took it straight back, just wondering if things have improved and more antennas/satellites are now out there

Can't find stock anywhere that I've looked near me.

This site allows you to check your coverage. Could probably find out how near you are to a mast.

Good find. Just reserved one (last one in stock - phew).

Each to their own, but if you've got wi-fi then get an internet radio instead for about £50. Better sound quality than DAB (IMHO), thousands of stations, no problems with areas of poor reception, and BBC Radio's "Listen Again" programmes and general podcasts all available on demand.

Go to www.getdigitalradio.com and put in your postcode where it tells you to. It will tell you which stations you should definitely receive and which you might get.

thanks to both of you for info
on both sites i get just 15 "fairly likely" to receive and no "very likely"
seems i am still stuck out in the outer hebridies here in the middle of suburbia! lol

Can you connect an external aerial to this? And Terriclarkfan, does your £50 internet radio work without a PC being on?

Yes, it connects to my wireless network. No PC needed. You can even configure your own list of favourite radio stations and podcasts at www.reciva.com for free, which automatically download to your internet radio when you power it on. I'm currently listening to Mark Kermode's film review podcast from earlier this evening. Honestly one of the best gadgets I've ever bought.

Only downside is that if you want it for the football then you will be dissapointed. The BBC don't currently have the rights to stream the football, so you won't be able to listen to live commentry on this...

This is a high quality radio,
£24.99 in PC World

Seems that PC World only have the white model and isn't online so its matter of hoping your local store has stock

richer sounds will price match and beat it by £5 as well. I got 2 for £20 each when the last pc world £25 offer was posted.

I believe this changed this season as you previously couldn't get commentaries on the BBC's internet service.
