First post.

I have bought my previous W905 this way and saved a substantial amount. TV is ‘as new’. Under EU law, anything returned, even though it has been unused, cannot be sold as ‘new’, hence if you look in the right place you can get a ‘nearly new’ tv and save £350! And you still get the warranty and you can return within 30 days for refund.

Simples!

Savings of £200 only for a used model: pricespy.co.uk/pro…735

This TV is equally being replaced soon... so pressure on prices

For this money I'd expect a refurbished OLED. Cold for me.

I have just returned my LG B7 OLED. Nice tv. Blacks are err...black but normal Sky TV (in HD) does not look any better than my old Sony W905. I have an Apple TV 4K, and again no notable improvement in picture quality.

Where you see an phenomenal improvement is when you hook up a 4K Blu-ray player.

I could not justify the £500-700 premium over the ‘next best 4K’ TV which is this Sony XE9005.

only £200 cheaper which has 12 month warranty compare to 5 year, the extra warranty is worth that alone, not to mention buying new get you a £200 sound bar free, and if you can wait, it will be cheaper before Christmas. so i cant recommend this

I was tempted by this one also but like others think it’ll come down around Black Friday.

good deal if you can’t wait though

I agree that a new OLED is £500 more. However, as this deal is a refurb, you are not comparing like for like. If the OLED is £500 more new, I'd expect the OLED refurb to be similar in price to this Sony. For the same money, there is no comparison.

You were expecting miracles? Sky still broadcast in 1080i. You'll need SkyQ for that, and a TV/Monitor is only as good as the source.

My B7 arrives today, i'm not buying it for Sky, i'm getting it mainly for HDR gaming, you can't beat it.

Got john lewis to price match this yesterday from somewhere else £1079 new delivered with 5 yr warranty
