Can't go wrong at this price honestly. Cracking phone.

You've out done yourself switchy
At what point do you ask O2 to take £75 off? Before checking out? Just wondering how or why this discount is applied for everyone else that may ask. Good deal though.

Truely sensational. Especially with the xmh 3 offers for preorders.

I don't think you get those headphones with this order though.

No they've stopped the xm3 deal now, unfortunately, but you do get a free pair of headphones worth £40 if you take out a higher tariff, which you are cancelling anyway
I feel so much better about using the same method to order a P30 and claim a watch @ 276. That one, even for 477 seems expensive. 3300mah battery for a 6.5 inch screen device? (no disrespect, I appreciate the fact it's a good price for this phone, I just think this phone is not a good value).
Also I ordered a 20gb tariff so no free gift on mine (that's what I asked for via chat and couldn't amend after I got the link with discount), would they not decline the gift if you cancel the airtime anyway?

Edit: I have cancelled my airtime yesterday (delivery last friday) - the guy over the phone said I either need to return the phone under 14 days cooling off, or give 30 days notice. I quoted him the tcs from the huawei thread and after a couple of transfers to different department, managed to cancel the airtime without 30 days notice. If you order this (or anything else for that matter), be persistent not to do 30 day notice!
Nice find, though I'm still not sure about 21:9 - I'd prefer the One Vision if it wasn't. Heat for hot things though.
If it works excellent price, for great phone

Had mine for over 5 weeks wasn't sure myself 1st, but glad I did, its really comfortable to hold due to small width, and that extra screen is beautiful, lot more content can be seen when Web browsing. Films are this excels at

I don't really do film content on my phone, just browsing/research, occasional youtube, social media, HUKD obvs... occasional game, but very occasional, and occasional Kindle

Great for all that because of the longer screen ratio don't need scroll as much, because of the extra content you get
FYI, you might have to return the free gift if you cancel the sim within the cooling off period.

I like the space for an extra row of apps that 18:9 gave, but 21:9 might be an unneeded step too far for me and my pocket depths!

I find battery life on the Xperia 1 to be great. I'm not a heavy user but I get at least 2 days out of a charge, sometimes 3. The tall screen is great for browsing and reading, too. I'll change to P30 Pro or S10 in future though, purely for the brighter screen and better camera.

I find it hard to believe that with heavy use it would last 2 days. I I have a mate 20 pro which has 4200mah battery and much higher endurance rating according to various reviews and I can barely squeeze 2 days out of it with medium to high use. By all means I am not trying to disprove your point, but I'd be veeery surprised if that was the case with that xperia (maybe if it sits on the desk unused)

Cheers mate, I thought so, £75 has been guaranteed to work, so £400 off rrp ain't bad in my book.

You must have misread, as I said I'm not a heavy user. It certainly doesn't sit on the desk unused, but deals with my web browsing, reading and occasional use of a workout app with usually 20 percent or more to spare after 2 days. Sony do make noise about "smart battery management" with this phone, and given the large screen and small battery it seems like they are doing something right there.
I get full day use with mine, from 7am to about 11 and have 20 percent left, that with Web browsing, YouTube and sky q TV, and that's without stamina mode on, so yes potentially you could get another half day with stamina mode on

It's a really good deal. I struggle to sell this phone at RRP to myself let alone someone else!

Lovely concept with the long screen. I'm a huge fan personally.

Yeah me too, easier too handle, if nothing else.
I took Oppo Reno 10 x zoom instead last month. Great phone is someone considering. Battery life is stunning. My previous mate 20 was good but this is so much better. Half a day longer with heavy use

With snapdragon of exynos? Tried this phone with exynos last month from Affordable mobiles and battery life is terrible. 40% in just an hour of installing apps and setting up the phone. Any other phone 15% maybe 20%. Wish it was snapdragon. The only nice thing about this phoen is the weight. Super light! Bought Oppo Reno 10 x zoom instead. Superb phone but very heavy!

Yeah it's exynos. It uses battery for fun. It's a shame as everything else about the phone is great. I'd get the one+7 pro but I'm not convinced about the camera and the huaweis constantly crash on Android auto so can't go back to them as use that daily on my commute
Just a heads up. Ordered the p30 on refresh and cancelled the airtime today. It was a ballache as they keep quoting the 30 day rule. In the end after speaking to six people I asked them to find the t&c's and read section 9 back to me like a five year old child. Penny dropped. Job done - I hope!

Yeah been trying the one plus 7 Pro as well. The camera is not the best. Good Choice if u are into gaming. Oppo reno 10x zoom concentrate on camera much more than gaming that's what I was looking for as well. No, sticking cameras on the back looks gorgeous and case, included is such a good quality, don't remember someone give as good for free With the phone. Phones comes unlocked from mobiles.co.uk. 2 sim cards. The software is very nice too. Didn't like the one from Samsung. Oppo and One plus is the from the same company and they are very similar in hardware software and even the body. Shark camera looks so much better than pop up by One plus.

I advise to watch as many YouTube video as u can before choosing the phone to be happy
