Had mine since June 2019, can't fault it, love the 21.9 screen ratio and 4k display. Good price plus they will still have 15 months manufacturers warranty left on them

No idea fella, sorry
For the money I would go with unlocked, black and very good condition. This comes out at £312
I am tempted to get one of these but people keep hammering them for having shortcomings like dim display, poor battery life, slow camera (especially switching) and it is a bit 'TV remote sized' but I do like Sony's. Xperia 5 might be better though if the 1 is too big.

I think that's the one, black is an easier resell and unlocked is simpler too.
Really tempted with the leaked 5 plus as it looks very similar to this but has a headphone jack! I'd like this though

I've had mine since June 2019, I also brought one for my wife, people bang about complaints have never used one, most have never brought one, so wouldn't go what people say ask real users, once you get use to 21.9 screen you won't go back, it's most comfortable to hold as phone because of its slim build. The display is gorgeous excellent for watching sky q, Netflix, and performance is super fast has never lagged. Only downside is the fingerprint scanner not the best, but much improved with the android 10 update

I have used Sony handsets for years and think they made some of the best phones. I only stopped using them with the XZ2 pandering to Apple, etc. and removing the headphone jack. I also heard about the fingerprint scanner being useless. I am happy enough with the in-button one on the XZ1 and previous.

Good advice as their 'good' can be proper ropey. 'Very good' can vary from, accurately, very good to 'not too bad considering how much I paid' to 'not exactly what I was expecting considering how much I paid'.
Check especially the charging ports as, IMO, they don't really bother to check them. If your charge cable doesn't click in place and stay in place then return it ASAP because you won't get the garbage out of there that's preventing it from doing so (at best) or the port is kaput. Either way it's going to be a long term problem for you. Don't bother with googling it and trying to pick it out with a sculpted piece of plastic as you will be wasting your time. Send it back for a refund and move on.
On the odd occasion you do get a good one then take it as a stroke of good fortune rather than any expected norm.
