Specs? Maybe? No?

You can add them yourself to deal, under 'add info' on top right menu

Hardware specs being important, 'soft specs' are not to be underestimated. That's the design, build quality, software, user experience, UI features, software update policy, warranty support etc - in these respects this phone makes up for its midrange specs, against competition

This phone will interest people keen on multimedia playback on a budget, wether it's Netflix in native aspect ratio or music with in-built wired sound upscaler, or those who own LDAC headphones to gain an edge on BT audio transmission

Hi Guys,

I got this for my mum and I found it to be a very cheap looking phone, big bezels and quality of the screen was poor. The phone was thick and heavy and when you hold it it's a very awakward aspect ratio and I noticed that she had an Xperia XA Ultra and that phone is basically the same specs with more RAM and 3 years old so I sent this straight back.

I opted to get her a P30 lite which cost £200 from CEX A Grade and in my opinion it completely blows this out of the water. Its smaller, thinner with a bigger screen and the screen looks way nicer and it's super light.

If you specifically want an Xperia 10 id recommend the Xperia 10 plus. It would be a better choice as it has more RAM and bigger screen, but if your budget was £160 i'd go for the Motorola Moto G7 it completely beats these specs for the same price.

Same specs than XA Ultra? Not according to GSM Arena, by some distance

XAU was clunkier and heavier too, this design is very modern, ergonomic, stylish, 21:9 cinematic ratio optimized for Netflix

P30 Lite is even more stylish, lighter, much better camera...and more expensive

Motorola G7 is a good choice at similar price point, but not as good for multimedia-focused users on a budget, which is the USP of this phone. Xperia 10 Plus is bigger, imo too large for many pockets and hands

I had Xperia 10 briefly just to try out the 21.9 ratio, used it for about 4 weeks before selling it and upgraded to Xperia 1. This is most comfortable phone to hold full stop. Being narrow plus giving you a proper film experience and more content on screen this better then all 18.9 ratio formats. Anyway when I did have the Xperia 10 was impressed with screen, its bright vivid and natural. Performance was good it didn't lag, its android OS is clean and functional. The camera was average. For the price this is good value and it isn't heavy quite light and very durable.

He's probably had the wrong phone
Xa ultra about 3 years old so not sure what phone his Xperia 10 came from
Went from an s8 to one of these. So far so good and meets my requirements.

Isn't the battery life bad?

Seems fine to me. Nice phone to hold. I'm probably charging it once every 4-5 days but I'm not a big user.
