Saw one review post that after they sold the earphones the price was around £850 (this deal is without earphones).

It overheats ... to the extent a message comes up on the phone telling you not to hold it as it might burn you. The night photography is much worse than my old Pixel 5 and the compass points in random directions. Avoid.
Feels nice in the hand, screen, battery and camera good. I'm no photographer and the camera is a bit overkill for me I like to point and shoot.
I probably need to learn how to use it.
Ive had mine for 3 weeks not a single instance of overheating. I don't do gaming. However camera fails to start up on occasions. When using the phone through an app to scan a QR code (eg when setting up Asus mesh using the app) the camera doesn't start and won't open up unless phone restarted.
I'm awaiting a replacement handset as o2 think it's hardware issue (unlikely as video Pro app works as normal).
