Sony Xperia M2 - 500 Mins, Unlimited Texts, 500mb Data, 4G - 24 month contract on EE - Handset is Free - £40 cashback from Topcashback if quick for new contract deal.

Good spec phone from a top producer with a perfectly usable 4g package at a total cost of £295.76 which works out to be £12.32 a month - better than many 4g sim only packages with a phone that currently sells on ebay for £180.

Yes a 3G sim will defo work in a 4g phone, just won't get the speeds and vica versa.

heat added. really good value for money phone, screen isn't as good as high end devices but good enough if you want a cheap contract.
htc desire 610 has similar specs and should be out at a similar price in a couple of weeks for those who like sense.

Hmm not a bad contract, however if you don't want the contract, 2 weeks ago was posted on EE PayG for £149.99 inc. £10 credit:

My personal plan is to sell the m2 and just use the sim for my current phone - if I can get £120 on ebay for it then that makes the total cost £175 for a 24 month sim only deal or only £7.29 a month for 4g when I am currently on 3g.

Not a bad deal, but 500mb data isn't enough for most I'd imagine. I use WiFi much more than mobile net and still tot up more than 1gb a month. I'm not sure what the charges are if you go over your 500mb allowance but I imagine EE won't be lenient.

The are actually quite reasonable - they block data & let you decide whether to buy an additional bundle. Don't like 'em, but this tariff is very tempting. There is a deal out there on the G2 for £120 up front on this tariff.

This deal is available from 5 sites (three groups). Personally I'd go for mobiles.co.uk (CPW group) as most likely to be unlocked & they will give repeat customers cashback (BM/BMP won't). You could also try MPD (check feedback first as I have never used them) if on EE/t-mob/Orange as they do EE upgrades (haven't checked for this deal, but the G2 is the same price for upgrade & new contract which is good).

I'm with pruhealth and my bronze membership gives £5 cashback per month on any 24 month deal. Could work out quite well if I sell the phone on ebay and pop it into my note 3.

500mb 4G. lol

Why do people instantly think 4g = heavy user? lol

Because there's not much point in 4g for a light user?

Except you can do the same things faster.
