Still not a bad price for a LTE ready tablet.
No idea why there are all the cold votes as this is a great price for a great tablet.

About a third of the price of a lesser speced iPad .

good price. heat added

Agree with you. Good deal for a very decent tablet.(tempted myself)
Bought a Nook hd+ tablet from these guys 2 years ago grade a1. Apart from the tatty box, it was in near enough pristine condition.

Maybe going cold as it states on the description that the water cover port cover will be missing. Which maybe a feature people want from this tablet?

**Note - Supplied in non-retail white boxes - These are Good condition Ex Demo units and as such the dust/port covers are missing - Does NOT effect opporation but DOES effect water resistance.
Seems a good deal to me, just bought one. Thanks.
Bit of a shame the port covers are missing. Not much 'refurbishing' then - more like a quick reset and chuck in box - a screen wipe if you're lucky.

'near enough pristine', oxymoron much Bet you eBay ads are a hoot

Bought a couple -- One for myself and one for the mum. Been bobbing along with a Nook HD+ for over a year which I wiped and upgraded to Cyanogenmod. Made it a LOT more useful but not really very usable as it just didn't have the internals to cope with anything more than very simple stuff -- great screen though. Hopeful that this will be a massive step up over the Nook HD+ in terms of general usability with Android. I also understand it will be upgradable to 5.1 which is a plus. Better still if it gets 6 or I can use cyangenmod on it.

Anyone know?

Cheers

Ralph

I can't see a problem with this deal. ok, it's not new or perfect, but a warrantied, decent spec, LTE Sony tablet at this price is very good value. heat has been given.
Delivered today. Like new, not a mark on it. Packed in a plain white box. The only thing missing is the cover for the charging port. Thanks Glyn, I'm delighted with it.
Also just upgraded to 5.1.1

Ah fantastic! Glad you had a good experience!

In reply to another comment here, I noticed that someone was asking for advice on flashing this to stock Android (or some other permutation of it). If you have a look over on XDA here: forum.xda-developers.com/sho…473 there's a very easy way to root your tablet.

For flashing thbe tablet I'd have a look here: wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/I…lux

These guides tend to be pretty useful depending on how tech savvy you're feeling!
So got both tablets yesterday. They're not pristine. Just the device, a cable and charger. They clearly have seen past action but they are still stonking tablets that, compared to my Nook Hd+, are leaps and bounds better... especially after an upgrade to Lollipop 5.1.1
Mine arrived yesterday and would appear to have had very minimal previous usage. Cracking deal!
I agree @Tunner but I wouldn't describe either of the pair I got yesterday as 'A1' - they have clearly got dints and marks of previous handling and use all around the edge of the devices. To me A1 really means you can't tell them from new - with the obvious exception that the seller did say that the port covers were no longer on the tablets. That minor gripe aside, I'm impressed with them both... so far.
My £130 one arrived yesterday. Fully boxed and indistinguishable from new. The only way I could tell it wasn't new as it already had Lollipop 5.1.1 on it. Although this may have been put on by a technician checking it.

Amazing tablet in every way and a steal at £130 delivered

Where did you purchase the £130 one from. Deal still active?
Morgan now describe them as in A2 condition.
@Chocka - That's a fairer representation of what I got. A2 suggests they've actually seen some action, which both of the ones I received clearly had. Anything sold/described as A1 ought to look pristine. Still, I'm not unhappy with the purchase.
