No SD card slot? That's a game changer with only 16GB onboard and the price of cards plummeting.

just like an ipad then which seem very popular and with cloud storage these days plus Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth - who needs SD cards?
and anyway according to the tech specs here it does have one

Yeah, but I'm not interested in cloud or streaming - I like to carry a decent music/movie collection with me and not have to rely on a data connection of any kind. This is quite important when travelling.

The seller doesn't mention a slot, but I'll take your word for it and, if it has one, it becomes quite an attractive option.

I have one of these and it definitely does have a micro SD card slot.

It has lollipop and should be getting upgraded to 5.1.1 in the next few weeks.

Hot from me

Anyone who values privacy, I'm guessing.

Great tablet, I've had mine for almost 2 years and it's still grand

The covers on the ports (charging and headphone port) are a little annoying but these were needed at the time to make it waterproof.
The newer xperia tablets don't need as much covers but then again you won't get them for this price. The only other negative (but it's never bothered me) is the slow charging times. Can take 5 to 6hours to fully charge.

BTW, I have a 128gb micro sd card in mine.

I would buy it if it's below 100.00.

Wait another 5 years or so and you might be in luck.

Ill never buy anything made by Sony after the the last mobile I had, the screen cracked on its own. Customer service where useless and would not accept responsibility and I've spoken to many people who've experienced the same thing.

Never buying from Morgans again
Bought a blackberry playbook, suppose to be A1 but scratched front and back, dodgy battery and really loose micro USB port, utter rubbish.

my thoughts exactly.

excellent tab, got it for £100 from the earlier ebay post, one of the most used tablets in the home, we have an air, ipad 2, mini and had a galaxy note, nexus 7 and tab 3 / 4

it's just so sleek slim, VERY LIGHT, easy to hold and use, I use it caseless, oh it is very nippy too

new or refurbished ???

Voted cold. How is this hot?

Refurbished, poor retailer, available much cheaper elsewhere.

I think you're missing their point? .. I doubt that's kinda quite like what their its a refurb comment was really trying to denote in retrospect do u?.

I think it was more in line with something along the line of stating it as it says on the tin sort of thing ..... lol. :-)

A refurb by their comment.

Point me where at please? .. as i'm genuinely interested in this at/for cheaper ..... thanx. :-)

Thats kinda one aspect of it I guess? + those (myself included) that have no immediate needs/plans to waste unecessary MB's &/or GB's via either wifi &/or data sim's just for the privaledge of having access to my handful of pictures/movies/songs, etc?, and even moreso if u travel abroad, as not every Country out their is as favourable when it comes to data plans/connections or whatever ..... (speaking more from first hand point of view here .. so 'cloud' in such instances would more naturally then prove to be a ruddy hinderance than that of a welcome blessing, blatantly ..... )

That's my 2 cents anyway lool. :-)

It has, I remember it being mentioned with such when it was released about 2 years - 2.5 years or so ago?.

There's been constant mixed reviews on/over this 1 same Tablet on consequence since then, so if in doubt google it, check some online websites/internet forums and the like (including some various reviews via hukd too?). :-)

Hm, tempted. Is this better than the Kindle Fire HDX? The screen is slightly larger, the resolution not quite as high, but it is closer to Android...

Got one of these last month for about 100 squid. Thanks HUKD.
Best tablet I've ever owned and would pay 150 for one.

It may be thin and light, but it is big (lots of wasted space around bevels).

Charging place is in the wrong position and you'll soon get annoyed at having to keep taking of the tab.

Other than that, brilliant.

No HDMI out ? Gotta love Hudl2, a cheap tablet with HDMI output

Title should say "Refurb", can a Mod please put it in?

Probably lots of hot votes from people unaware of this.
And some cold votes from people feeling the OP was misleading.

Will this get the windows 10 update?

Decent , tempted.

Cracking tablet, well worth this price.

Great tablet and still as quick as new. I never trust Sony though when it comes to updates and the 'Should be upgraded to 5.1.1 in the next few weeks' is never a guarantee

If you have one of these tablets, well worth picking up the official Sony dock if you can still find one.

I got the dock when I saw it posted here as an Argos deal many moons ago ... It charges the tablet when docked using the flat connectors on the side so you don't need to fiddle with the waterproof flap over the USB port. It also makes a great adjustable stand, very handy it teamed up with a bluetooth keyboard.

Will this get the windows 10 update?

Yes

Is this the sony tablet that has remote play to a ps4 like the phones? Or is that feature only available in the newer xperia tablets?

Listen music with a tablet? Wow

Currently £152.39 on scan's today only page which would be cheaper for those of us with their free shipping deal. It was £149.99 on there a week or two ago.

5 years?!
I can barely sell my 5 years old Macbook pro for 150.00 which I've paid 2500 pounds for!

can this be used as a phone?

Voted hot, then saw its a refurb. Here is my virtual cold vote
