Been waiting for this to drop to a sensible price, now it has.
Oreo out of the box, and Sony just released a fix for the camera distortion issue that was widely reported.

Shame its the compact version and still 32Gb is not enough internal memory.
Need at least 64Gb internal these days and the rest external via sd card.

Fantastic price for a compact phone.

Not quite Amazon I know but Eglobalcentral is selling it for £355.99 + 2% TCB cashback

Brilliant that Sony are putting high end SoC like the 835 in a smaller chassis when every other manufacturer things small=budget.

Yes, and I so wanted to like this phone. But....miserly 32Gb at this price range and serious camera issues (even with fix its no iphone/s8 camera).
Oh Sony, get your act together.

Great phone

I have the Premium but was in two minds getting the XZs. Just for info its £335 delivered from Amazon.it, not a huge difference in spec from the XZ1 from what I can see.

Had my eye on this for awhile, still can't justify a phone that's worth more than my car though

Tempted by this but even with the reduction it still feels like you're getting taxed by Sony for wanting a smaller phone.

Crappy storage and a low resolution screen for more money than a Nokia 8?

Nah.

Was really looking forward to this phone when it was announced as, like the Z5 and Z3 compacts before it is a proper top range spec in a smaller form.

However a little disappointed that the screen has not improved at all, has the exact same size bezels (thought it may trim a little), and NO FM Radio (which has been excellent on previous Sony's). The design is just a bit dull really, looks like all the other Sony compacts when in a case.

Also still seems a little on the pricey side, still. I really don't think this has sold at all well, so wouldn't be surprised if it's about the £300 mark around Xmas. The Z3 and z5 compacts did both sell well, and yet still had big reductions the following Xmas.

Anyhow, I recently picked up a z5 compact grade B from Smartfonestore and it's been pucker for £120.

Still heat added as at least it's the cheapest about for now.

I bought his phone when it came out. Honestly on a phone this size, screen resolution is not noticible at all. I came from the z5 compact and the screen seems 10x better, though looks same on paper.

How was the condition on the z5 compact? That seems like a great price!

Here's the deal I posted when I ordered, with some info...

I think they only have grade C at the moment, but worth checking

This is not an iPhone where you can't expand the storage. 32gb is fine you can grab an additional 128gb micro sd for 25-30 a £ now. Been carrying mine for 3 years now

John Lewis have it for the same price! PLus the official case on Sony's site is half price at the moment

There are some good contract deals on this (finally) , I was trying to get an X compact but got this on vodaphone @27 a month no extra cost instead - I'm just annoyed is fine with a uch20 charger, the X came with a quick charge 2.0 unit and that's two gens earlier.
