Overpriced? It's cheaper than the S9, but just as powerful.
How can the vr be free if you have to pay £185 up front?

You're paying £185 for the handset, the VR is free...

Which was also overpriced and will also drop in price in weeks from release like nearly every android phone ever.
Wow. That is pretty good if you are looking for that kind of thing.
Compare this against a Samsung s9 deal and it's very good.
I think this is hot. £689 SIM free, £833 total seems really good for the gift and airtime
Looking half reasonable until the £185 upfront came into view
You know I might have actually bought this had it not been for the 185 upfront.
It says in the fine print that the offer of a free PS4 or PSVR is only available for the first 500 pre orders.

Mine has tracked, that's all I can say
People complaining against the price. Its extremely competitive against the other high end devices on the market, but includes a ps4 at a cheaper price than the s9
I like Sony handsets, so often overlooked compared to the rest of the competition but often good and sometimes better than them. Shame the XZ2 is such a wild departure in design, prefer the XZ1 metal unibody.
Awesome deal voted hot, when is the phone released?

Except it's a Sony device, so you can all but guarantee it's either:

1. Not as powerful as actually claimed
2. Extremely poor quality
3. Likely to break down within a few weeks

If you're going to spend several hundred pounds on a phone it makes sense to get a reputable brand.

Except,

1. benchmark tests have already shown that its comparable to the S9
2. Sony phones are fantastic quality
3. Sony phones have no track record of breaking down after a few weeks
4. Sony not a reputable brand?!

So yeah, nothing you say makes any sense...

Since when does anyone buy a phone based on the power of a processor in benchmarks?

Lol wut? Go away troll.
£27 per month + £185 up front lol
I have a Sony E10, i'm very happy with it, and pay only £10 a month. (Free phone)
But I guess, because I never feel the need to use internet when I'm out, I don't have to pay for extra data.
Carphone warehouse had better deal £80 up front on EE..... 38 a month and you got 20Gb unlimited calls unlimited texts and u get the VR or play station

I know this is scientific but I've had two flagship Sony phones, because they look and feel absolutely gorgeous with amazing screens. However both were made useless by tiny hairline cracks - for whatever reason it stops the entire screen working and they are bloody expensive to replace - not sure if they have sorted this issue yet but I'd stay away personally

Based on personal experience (PS2, PS Vita, PSP, PS3, Xperia M4 etc) along with common consensus but apparently our experiences are invalid so....
Camera is better than s8 & note 8 ?
so gutted they removed the headphone jack. Been using Sony compact phones since the Z3 Compact. Feel like i have to shop around now.
