Use Code IPADTAB20 to get £20 off and £30 cashback is also available via redemption on the Sony Website which brings the total cost down to £279.99. Possible 1% quidco/tcb as well ? £20 off promotion ends on Tuesday so be quick if you want one!

Had my eye on this tablet for a while, its the thinnest and lightest tablet out there, its waterproof, its allows you to play ps4 games on it and it also supports micro SD cards as well.

Hope this helps someone

I can't possibly buy anymore tablets?!?! Heat!!

Apart from the PS4 remote play, ow does this compare with the Tab S 8.4, I currently have the tab s and tempted with this sony one also, plus i have the Z2 phone and a couple of Sony Tvs

I've not actually seen the Z3 in the flesh yet but the display won't be as good as the Tab S 8.4 ( which is amazing to be fair ). One thing i've noticed about the Tab S is that it does lag a little ? Maybe it's just the one's I've looked at but had a play with one in about 3 different stores and they all seemed to lag when swiping from the home screen

if you buy it from Sony direct you get £30 off which is a better deal

I havent experienced any lag on mine so far although all i ever use it for is watching movies, reading and browsing. You are right also about the screen, the dpi on the Sony is lower than the samsung which now that you mentioned is kind of putting me off the sony, except for the touchwiz.

You get the £30 off but can't claim the cashback as well though. This deal works out to be £279.99 with the £20 off and £30 cashback from Sony so is cheaper

You still get it I think if bought from Currys

I'm looking at new Ipad mini 64 wifi £399 but option at this Z3
Now with sony android S phone 32 gig but only give 2 gigs avail for apps etc then you have to delete.
compared to my itouch which 32 gig is avail to everything. I have cheap tab and it;s the same with that only so much avail to apps. I've done the transfers to main memory bit.
So with the Z3 whats avail for storage or is it unlimited

I bought one from the Sony site. £299 including the official Sony case worth £35 and £15 tracking through Topcashback.

I'm really happy with the tablet and it's battery life is unbelievable. I've only charged mine up once since owning it and the battery life is still on 40% after 5 days and I've watched a movie, tried remote play for about an hour, a few hours browsing, installed loads of app. The battery life is brilliant. Everything runs fast and smooth and the screen is clear and vibrant. Its really slim and light and a really nice to handle.

What's not so brilliant is the remote play. Everything is fine until you connect the PS4 controller to the tablet via Bluetooth. This makes remote play stutter and the screen becomes pixellated once they sort out the bugs in remote play issues, this tablet will be awesome.

I'm that impressed with it, I'm going to sell my LG G3 phone and buy the Sony Z3 phone.

Here's mine

tab s 8.4 has a better screen, higher resolution, better battery, bigger battery. ou can link it to an s5 i think. I haven't noticed any lag yet

Sony has ps4 remote play and is a little bit cheaper

both decent tablets

I have the tab 8.4s lte which is superb.

I received my z3 tablet and I love it. light, incredibly thin, volume from speakers is excellent. screen is really good, I'd say amazing but that award goes to the Samsung tab s which is better but probably going to drink the juice more. one thing I'm a bit gutted is its lacking an ir blaster to control TV etc but it's not like I've ever used that function on any other device. I got the case for 1p from Sony and it's good but it's so much nicer holding this tablet naked, I wouldn't pay full price for the case. I'd have rather saved an extra £20 on this posted deal than got the case. I'm actually glad they didn't put a glass back on this device too, fingerprint magnet, it's OK on a small device like the phone but not a big area like this. battery seems really good so far, after a day of playing around there's 75% left last night.

Siddy, I had a check for you, I've installed a load of apps and other bits but I've worked out that the operating system and bloatware takes up about 6GB, which isn't too bad, much better than what my Samsung devices took up.
your ipod touch won't have had 32GB available, apple stuff needs to take up space for the operating system too its just there's little bloatware on Apple devices. (apart from u2 albums).
there's no way your 32GB phone has only 2nd available. it must be filled with media and apps. get a good file browser app like root explorer or solid explorer from the play store, have a look around the sdcard folder (this is actually the internal memory, external micro sdcard are the extsdcard folder) you'll find a load of junk in the downloaded folder. you could always do a factory reset on you're phone but back up anything you need first.
my personal opinion, don't get the new Ipad mini, rip off and already dated, it's exactly the same as last year's model just with a fingerprint scanner. if you really want an Ipad, buy last year's model as it'll be a lot cheaper but just as good as new one. I'd recommend the Z3 or the Samsung tab s over the Ipad any day.

same here, who wants to buy my 6 month old HTC one m8?

one reason why I picked the Z3 over the tab s is there is supposed tone much better sound chip thingies in the Sony, so upscaled audio through headphones.
oh and the ps4 remote play...I'll try that later.

Thanks for the reply just chec xperia S fone and it's internal storage 1.97gb 237 free it's this 237mb I've to keep free so updates can download and install, it's a pick and choice update.
the I have 25.8gig with 12gig free this is where all media and everything i can transfer goes on.
I have es file explorer installed so will have another route round
