Why is it getting cold votes? Is that not a good price for that phone. Or do people have bad experience with this supplier.
voted hot
Comes with a free power bar too. Hot Deal as long as it's the actual z5 not the compact.
374.99 at simply electronics for the gold dual sim version (e6883 according to the website but that makes it the premium)

I'm aware of their hit and miss reputation. Hence not posting as a deal.
Also, topcashback offering £5.25 for simfree phone purchase at fonehouse.
Can't argue with the deal price wise. Anyone have any experience of buying from Fonehouse?
This must be the compact version - in the tech specs it states screen size 4 inches

They also have the compact listed at £335. Would think that's an error on the screen size.

The tech specs are totally to pot, the Compact has a 720p screen which means if these were the specs for the Compact they would be wrong.
Is it just me, or do Sony phones look a little dated?
Yes, I know they're specification powerhouses, but what's with the 3 year old styling?
Voted hot for price.

Anyone used this website?
Same deal on Metrofone, too, so I'm guessing they are sibling companies. Does anyone know if these are definitely UK stock handsets? I've emailed them to ask, but I've had no response.
good price BUT I have the Z5 and have done for a little over a month and the phone has bent drastically in my pocket. I don't wear skinny jeans, I haven't sat on it. Z2 was in the same position for 2 years and no issues.

I cant even retro fit it with a case as the phone is so wonky. So just be warned.

Not necessarily dated, but yes they have barely changed the design in 3 years. However, when its got a case on it how much of the phone do you actually see? In my case its just the screen.
When it gets to half this price I may be interested. My Z2 is more than good enough til then !
But to be honest, Sony have me as a fan. My son has a Z3 after being ONLY an iPhone man and wouldn't have anything but a Sony too, now
ONLY complaint I have with Sony is they are obsessed with 16gb internal memory. For God's sake. It should be 64gb MINIMUM these days, allied to which when you move stuff to SD card it leaves most behind and you can't clean it. Irritating is an understatement the old Moto E I had a few months was the opposite. It moved the stuff lock stock and barrell and you could clean whats left in the main.

Check again. Some start slow. People who buy Sony tend to stay with Sony these days. They seem to have learned a lesson on updating the likes of Panasonic and LG STILL haven't learned

This handset has 32GB internal storage as a minimum. There is no 16GB option as far as I know.

So it is, my bad!
I had the z1 and z3.. Top fones.. In every way. Except the ability to move apps on to sd card.. Phone companies in general really need to start pushing a minimum of 32gb now.
Anyway voted hot because I like it better then iPhone 6
Has anyone used this site before? Do they sell UK handsets or imports?
Be very careful buying a Sony phone as they are not all they say they are and also the Sony customer service levels are some of the worst I have ever experienced from any company.

This phone is showing as a 4 inch in description, so it's the compact version!

Type: Capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors
Size: 4.0 inches (~59.6% screen-to-body ratio)
Resolution: 480 x 800 pixels (~233 ppi pixel density)
Multitouch: Yes
I believe the LG G4 for 235 quid is a much better value.

I wouldn't trust this site as the size it quotes is for the normal/middle Z5 but the screen resolution isn't for any Z5 model, the Premium is a 4K (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) screen, the normal Z5 is a 1080p (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) and the Z5 compact is a 720p (1,280 x 720 pixels) screen.

that and the Compact has a 4.6" screen not a 4.0" one.

what this is at 480x800 and 4.0" I have no idea....

Order at your risk.
Compact model only £22 per month with better plan at mobiles.co.uk

The Z series do better than most Android phones for transferring data to SD cards but the restriction is at Androids feet not Sony's. Should be fixed with the marshmallow update.
decent price for a decent flagship smartphone ... camera has no optical image stabilisation (so Samsung G6 and LG G4 in a different league camera wise) and struggles in low light and avoiding jerky video but it has that lovely microsd card .. personally i would go for the LG G4 from ebuyer and have over £100 in change or get the 64GB Galaxy G6 for around this price locked (costs less than a tenner to unlock on fleabay)
I'm still on Z1 compact, great phone!
It's £399 on Rakuten and you can get white on there if you want that one (Carphone Warehouse have an exclusivity deal on White in the UK). I'm waiting for a super points day or 15% off voucher - plus there's often upto 10% cashback

why did you Bruy it from Amazon?
According to DxOMark, the camera in this thing is tied for best phone camera with the s6 Edge plus, beating out any iphone, the G4, and the regular s6 edge.
