Better processor though. You also get that cool fingerprint reader

Same processor as the Z3+ just has improved cooling.

That cooling will matter for heavy users though. I believe the small price jump (between Z3+ and Z5) is worth the cooling (and of course you get that fingerprint reader!)
Can anybody voting cold explain why or find a better deal? The next cheapest I could find was in total an extra £276 over the length of the contract!

You'd get the quidco with this deal too, it's a good spot though!

1) it's out w/c 5th Oct, that's two weeks.

2) I did, this was the best deal with no upfront cost and adequate data allowance

All full size Z models since the Z2 have had 5.2" 1080p screen.
Not a fan of contracts, prefer to buy the phone outright and get a Sim only tariff. Granted, buying phone from Amazon and getting a Tesco mobile SIM works out about the same as this deal, but the handset is unlocked and you you are not tied to O2 for two years. Saying that, i have had my Z3 Compact for over a years now and am still more that happy with it, probably the only phone i have still used after 12 months
good deal, I'm waiting for the z5 ultra to be launched in March

As it's through mobiles.co.uk it should be an unlocked handset.

Never said it wasn't, it just means the normal Z5 is difficult to justify the jump up even from the Z2 at this price. If your contracts up fair enough but I tend to chop and change at will and for £500 sim free it feels over £100 too much for me atm. (Could be tempted with the Premium when that drops below £500 tho).

Ahh yes I agree

Smart phones now they're ever so similarly specced
Even compared to a year or 2 year old flagship the difference is too little

looks cool in black & gold. nice phone. hot.
