I dont know about you but i have been pretty disappointed with the mobile phone deals during the sales.
I thought this might help those who don't like to be being tied in a contract for 2 years.
Vodafone,
- Unlimited Minutes
- Unlimited Texts
- Unlimited Data
- for 3 months then 1GB
- 12 Month Contract!!

Includes £180 cashback reducing the standard monthly line rental from £48.50 to £33.50 per month.

I have noticed similar tariffs around the £33 mark but over 24months so this is not bad considering.

i know the high monthly cost will put some off but the total cost after cashback is only £402

Your title is misleading, total cost after discount is £402 but your title is £420. This is a good offer considering the cost for this handset alone would set you back £350 min. However the network is not the best, but for 12mths this deal is hot. Shame I have only left VF after being a loyal customer for 4 years, being set on a 2g network all the time and unappreciated not cool. HEAT added for price.

Not voting on the deal, but I never like purchasing a phone based on a cashback deal, especially when I'm banking on a 1/6th of the price back to make it affordable.

Agree that the phone deals have been shameful, mind. So much potential holiday gift cash and credit waiting to be spent...

Who have you moved to after Vodafone? Only ask as I'm thinking of switching at the end of jan, fed up of them.

Im on three and so far apart from having intermittent signal connection, not sure if it is my phone or the network/area, the internet is much faster. Using sony xperia arc. The problem is easily fixed though, i usually dial 333 and end call to reconnect it if its too slow to do it automatically.

You might want to consider giffgaff or 02, giffgaff is cheaper but is under 02 (no customer service, community forum). 02 only just because of their 02 priority deals, good deals sometimes. I chose three because of their "feel at home" package, everyone gets it free; you can use existing price plan abroad in a number of countries that support it.

Also i havent got 4g but apparently on three its free to all customers so long as you're phone supports it, same package as compared to other providers. It might be useful to know that it is very easy to cap your phone plan with three ie. Sim only 7.50 a month capped at 7.50 a month to make sure thats how much you pay. Phone in or log into your account to do it. Hope that helps, happy new year.
