The picture quality is nice but I've had no end of trouble getting the WiFi to stay connected, it's been going on since July and all Sony ever want to do is tell me to wait for the next fix that is definitely going to fix the issue. I gave up on trying to fix the ARC issues.

They've now finally accepted that they need to offer something other than a technical resolution for me but it's only taken 6 months.
If you don't want to use any of the smart features and are happy with the on board speakers then it's a great TV, if you do want to use those 2 things I'd look elsewhere.
Plus its VERY, these are probably customer returns

We've not had any WiFi issues .
Arc is working with out any problems too.

On board speakers are fine if you adjust the sound profile, though we do use a sony 5.1 occasionally too.
So 599 with the 20% discount, that's an awesome price for this TV.
Looks like only manufacturer warranty though unless you pay for extra.
I think its only 10% discount on electricals...

You are right, if you click the link and read the small print it is only 10% on Electricals. I will amend it.
Ordered one 3 hours ago with the 10% new customer code... just had a missed call from very.....

You must be very lucky as they've released multiple firmware updates to try and resolve the issues, and I'm sure they wouldn't go to all that effort just for me!
Incredible TV

We've only applied the one to take us to the latest update.

As I've said already, we've not had any of the issues that you have had, the TV needs very little tweaking (we've tried all of them picture / sound wise and have returned to the default settings with minor changes) and it gives a great experience.

I've no reason to make claims that are untrue.

Anyway hope they manage to resolve your issues, maybe your TV needs replacing.

You need to try and move your router closer to the TV especially if you're using an internet service providers router as depending what model it is the WiFi can be rubbish. Mine lost 98% of its signal to one of the bedrooms. Replacing the router with a Netgear r7000 reduced that loss to 25%. That's the difference in having WiFi and not. I boxed clever when I got my internet upgraded to fibre as I put the router behind the TV so it's hard wired but have tried it on WiFi and it's fine.

Mine wasn't. Sealed box and everything in the box was sealed.
I paid £799 for this less 20% personal discount code. Purchased for £646.19 including delivery. Bargain and very nice TV. Got Kodi on it and side loaded mobdro.

It's less than 10ft away with a clear line of sight, no other item I have in the house has any issues with it despite being much further away, on different floors or through multiple walls.

Have you tried plugging it into the router to see if you have the same issues.
No, because it isn't an issue with the wired connection, it's a WiFi issue as acknowledged by Sony, it also isn't practical going forward to have the TV mounted in the hallway, where the router is, and is staying.
