Doesn't sound personal either!
It's a deal, it's money off the original price. They're ideal as a cheap and probably still comfortable Xmas gift (even though they're faux). It's the fact that you're commenting negatively on products being faux when they're only £3.92......my point being; did you honestly expect the real thing at that price (also....did you want real fur???)

'REAL' items go in the sale too Eg 'Real' sheepskin slippers

Plus its a FALSE ECONOMY to buy polyester/plastic products thinking you've got a bargain when you've just got a product that doesn't last very long/falls apart/doesn't do its job properly.

I'm not slating you, I'm slating the product, please dont take offense ok.

OOS now nice slippers

I didn't say that. Just buy a decent quality product in the sale, not one like this.

If i gave this as a xmas present, I'd be embarrassed to be thought of as a cheapskate. Thats my personal opinion.

People aren't made of money especially these days, some people have no choice but to be "embarrassed" as you put it, I would be more embarrassed to give nothing. Its the thought that counts

I wouldnt give a gift to anyone for £3.

I'd wait to save up and give a better gift after xmas if i cant afford to pay more than £3 per person.

People understand if you cant afford pressies during expensive xmastime.

I disagree, imo most people would like to give something. My mother in law lost her house a few years ago, when she said she had no money, she really didn't. Im sure her family/friends would rather her not get further in debt.

Youve just contradicted yourself..ie its best to give nothing if you have NO money and no house, which i agree with. Lets agree to disagree. subject closed. Product oos anyway

If you don't mind....I'd just like to point out that, while yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion....not everyone is so fussy about their gifts (received) not all expensive genuines are very well put together, but are overly bloated in price. Sometimes the price of a 'genuine' even in a sale, is still too dear for some. So....if you don't want or wish to buy in the first place then why go into the deal? Just to give a cold vote? Colds should be limited to finding a cheaper deal than the one posted. I mean really, it'd be like me going into a few of your posts and cold voting them because I have no interest in buying.....oh wait, you haven't posted any deals!!!
That in itself is a sort of insult....cold voting the deals I post.....slating them in the process....yet not participating with sharing deals with other members of this site.

i hear ya. Like I said, just agree to disagree.

imo if a person votes a deal cold, a little pop up box should appear asking "why cold?", there could be a multiple choice here
I dont like this product
I dont like this retailer etc
I know where its cheaper... at...

so on and so on...
Therefore for those who consistently vote products cold for the first 2 reasons.. well I cant do all the thinking on this can I?! haha

I opened this thread cos I would have bought a pair of these slippers to wear while mine were in the wash! ;-)

Can't believe the comments over what was clearly a deal with money off and no jumping through hoops to get it - if, like me, you have a puppy who decides your slippers are better than the expensive toys and chews you buy them these slippers would have been an ideal purchase, unfortunately only just seen the deal and they're now oos!
