ought this Rattan Garden Sofa set last year for much more than this new price. Amazing quality, almost none of that tacky plasticky effect and it survived last winters snow deluge. I couldn't be happier with mine. The reviews are great. If you're on the market for one grab one while you can!

This new £330 price is a steal!

This doesn't look as comfy as the Amazon deal of the day version of this and its twice the price. Admittedly this is probably better quality but is it worth double? Value is in the eye of the beholder I guess.

If you want plastic chairs then why not just buy plastic chair set?

I would describe this set as luxurious quality. I saw a slightly nicer set display at M&S but that one cost around £1,200.

Value for money is not just what you pay but what you get for it. If you want cheap, B&M can get you a similar set for less than £200 and I'd say for what your getting you're over-paying.

I paid closer to £500 for this set last year and I thought at the time and still do now that it was a great deal.

B&Q should have a this set on display, anyone considering this should pop in, have a look and get a nice feel

Value is subjective but I hope this deal makes someone's summer:)

Just ordered this, I’ve seen this in store a few months back was going for like £499 I think, this set is one of the best in the rattan range that I’ve seen, the quality is not the same your average thin rattan, this set is nice and chunky and has a high back.

I paid £499 for it last year and thought it was a steal. If it wasn't for the fact I've had so much use out of it over the last year I'd be jealous of you for getting it at this price. It was caked in snow this winter but still looks as good as new today and in this weather it gets plenty of use. It's probably as comfy as my living room sofa but in the garden. I hope you enjoy your purchase as much as I have mine

Well it didn't cost me a penny to post this deal and at least one person bought it. It was therefore worth it.

I can see this deal is ice cold. Funny how so many of my lesser deals have become scorching hot.

We're clearly at a point where only the most determined bargain hunters will see past the negative score and bag one!
I bought mine from argos very happy with it 250 or 300 I paid for it and it was corner sofa

Whilst the Amazon set might be made of plastic, the reviews suggest that it is good quality, has passed the winter test and is very comfortable. I guess I don't put too much importance on needing a really high quality bit of furniture that I will likely use for 6 months of the year.

If we were talking about TVs or other tech then I'd be very likely weighing the quality aspect higher. It just depends what your priorities are I suppose.

Had a look, it’s more like a flat rattan effect (rattan like) compare to this which is a round shape rattan. The deal just ended as I was on the page so now it’s £269 again.
Plus this one has a back cushion while the other one was only on the bottom...

This is 100% worth the extra money, aluminium frames and proper cushions. I sat on both and the keters cushions are like pancakes.
Seems to be out of stock. I can add it to my basket but as soon as I try and check out it says its not available for delivery.
Any idea if the measurement for these please?

It's definitely galvanised, weather proofed aluminium. I know because I built this set myself

I’ve ordered so thanks, but won’t be galvanised aluminium, could be anodised aluminium (or painted/powder coated) or galvanised steel, most likely ali though I’d guess.

Whatever it is it's definitely not just untreated aluminium. The aluminium is solid but protected in a glossy weather proof manner

Pop down to your local B&Q where this is on display and report back on whether you think this is better value

No stock

There was. The set is out of stock due to no sofa... I ordered 4 chairs instead. Made it better as each person can spread out more.

Arrived today. Put a chair and table up and look really good so far. Thanks OP

Ive had mine for a year and despite wind snow and rain still look as good as they day I bought them. Hope you get many years of use for your set.
-66c and all sold out. Job done
Don't understand the minus votes when there is no minus comments. Strange folk.
Mine arrived today and, having read comments, assembly was easy (even with a toddler ‘helping’!). Make sure you get all screws in place before tightening any and I replaced all the supplied washers with thicker zinc plated ones (they’re m6’s but the ones provided are rather thin).

Really pleased with quality, they look great and are very comfortable. The frames are powder coated ali and, whilst the fixings are a little cheap, they’re easily replaceable if necessary later on.

My only reservation is that the glass table top is entirely unsupported except at the corners. It’s not a big deal but given the first reaction of my daughter was to climb onto it and try to stand up, I may be reinforcing it before long (ideally before replacement is required!).

Glad you like yours

I remember putting mine together last summer, very easily done in an hour but rest assured you'll be enjoying it for many more years to come.

The glass table top is actually very OK. Its on small but strong aluminium supports but you certainly shouldn't be standing on it. As for supporting a coffee tray, laptop, the odd medium heavy load like a bag its fine.

I've never close to have a problem with it but definitely DO NOT sit on the coffee table or allow your daughter to climb or stand on it as its not load bearing.

Mine has a bracket underneith the glass for extra support. You sure your not missing a part?
Thanks, I think we’ve got all the parts, it was the first bit I built so I actually read the instructions!! On ours there’s a rail that runs from one side to the other along the length of the table but there’s a gap between this and the glass. I was assuming this was to stiffen the table and not support the glass but could be wrong...

Your probably right. Yet i think i tighted my bottom screws too much as the bar is hardly tight and i still struggle to get the glass panel to fit. I was thinking of replacing the glass with perspex or similar as like you, baby seems to be attracted to banging stuff on it

I’ve decided that if she breaks it so be it, it’s toughened glass (like side windows in the car) so if it gets broken it’ll just end up as little cubes of glass, not really dangerous shards. Toughened glass is surprisingly difficult to break too and not expensive to get another piece from a glazier.
I recently purchased this and was wondering what people use to cover over the winter as I could not find the matching cove in B&Q. Any recommendations for a cover please?

You could use a 1.5m x 1m barbecue cover from somewhere like Home Bargain or you can leave it naked as it is. We do however bring the seat and cushions in when not in use. The covers are removable and washable. Im sure we've accidently left it out in the rain on a few occasions but Ive never washed our and they seem in perfect condition. I wouldn't choose to leave them out just to avoid any possible issues. It seems surreal a sofa so soft and comfy can be left out in all weathers and retain its great condition.

The only thing the sofa is not protective against is bird poo flights! Luckily ours hasnt been pooed on yet but if it was then I wouldn't have a problem cleaning it. Its looks nicer uncovered and you're more likely to use it on a whim on a nice day.
