A portable sound card... Wasn't sure how long I could make the title :P
Extremely niche product, bet they don't sell many of these.

The G6 is highly rated at improving sound quality Vs standard built in sound cards, but I agree, a bit niche. I guess the G3 is the budget version, but seems to have more emphasis on consoles.

Would love to compare the difference with my PC on board sound, but it's a bit pricey for a test.
I have creative super xfi amp for my phone it's pretty awesome.
The weak link will be the cable. I used to buy a load of 3.5mm headphone remotes that were a similar design and they would wear out after a few months of daily use.
Can't wait to use this on my PS4's USB-C, oh wait

Assuming the PS4 doesn't have USB-C, it comes with an adapter
The problem with this is most console gamers don't sit next to the console and they tend to either use wireless or plug the headphones straight in to the controller. I have a pair of GSP 500's plugged in to my DS4 controller and they sound fantastic, if i wanted something plugging in to my PS4 pro console i would want it to use the digital out not USB.
Does this work with phones?

I don't see why not, it's meant to be driverless, but I think other products might be better suited (have a look at their site I guess)
