Heat. Got a pair of these a few weeks back, very impressed, very comfortable, great battery life and was pleasantly surprised by the noise cancellation. Even an earphone snob at work was impressed with them.

@7fink7 from the amazon question section - Soundcore life 2 comparison:

Life 2 has active noise cancellation technology, whereas Life Q20 utilizes hybrid active noise cancellation technology. It uses a total of 4 microphones to detect and reduce ambient noises, compared to 2 microphones in Life 2. Also, the Life Q20 is with Bluetooth 5.0.

Not sure if that’s the full extent.

As for the others, I can’t comment! I’ve had the Soundcore life 2 headphones and been really impressed, so looking forward to using these! The first comment might give some hint!

Posted these as I thought they were cheap for what they are!
I have these. They're good.
I got these for Christmas and was really impressed with them. There is a slight dip in volume and depth to the sound when noise cancellation is active but other than that they are great. I have an 18 hour flight coming up that I will be putting them to the test.
Good value. Sound fine, comfortable and ANC works. Its not in the same league as the QC35 but makes a real difference.
These, or spend a bit (well, £50... ) extra on the Sennheiser 4.50?
So I bought these about 6 months back, they could be louder but there is one noticeable advantage of these over anything else, the battery life is amazing. Now before I continue I will say I haven't worn these for more than 2 hours at a time wirelessly and have used them wired at times when using them for playing on the Playstation (I bought a separate wire with mic and this works perfectly if interested), but these offer a great sound and comfort for the price. Now getting to my point, like I said I have used them for the last 6 months sporadically, but I still haven't charged since the 1st time. 6 months on and off usage and still says 60% (the counter goes down in increments of 20%), I have no doubt it will drop to the 40% soon but seriously, I haven't charged them once since the 1st time I bought them. Incredible.
Had them for 4 months now, great sound and battery life. Used on aeroplane and during morning commute on the tube, noise cancellation is sweet. Could not perform better for the price.

All sounds good - what way did you nic it up for the PS4? I assume this was for online play, did both game audio and whoever you were playing with / talking to come from the headphones?

So everything works perfectly as any other normal headphones. Problem is the mics don't pick up any audio from yourself when trying to talk to people online via playstation as you need to connect the wire to the controller to use them. The wire that comes in the box doesn't have an inline mic. I just bought a random inline mic wire on Ali Express for £2 to test if it would and it does. I will invest in a better one when this cable breaks but it's doing the job just fine at the moment. There are loads of inline mic cables on Amazon if you need this function.

These better value, Sennheiser's price will come down eventually, you should be able to find 4.40 closer to this price, but no NC.

With 4 mics, BT 5, hi-res wired audio, great battery life and almost Sennheiser-like, near-luxury build (despite being plastic), comfort and warranty (not their sound yet), these are very difficult to beat below £50. Don't think they support aptX, but they definitely do AAC, good news for Apple (or Apple Music) users

Thanks, tried the Sennheisers on today in John Lewis. Didn't like the ear cups, so they are out the window now.

got my headphones today - however having issues with the ps4!

how did you set these up? I keep getting either can't connect within time limit, or when it asks me if I want to register the device and go YES it then says Bluetooth audio devices are not supported by the ps4.

Also you mentioned using an "inline mic wire" I assume this is not similar to an AUX cable that comes with the headphones, but fits in both ps4 and the headphones.

thanks in advance :-)

Playstation doesn't allow bluetooth connect to wireless head without a bluetooth dongle (which probably works but I haven't tried). What I have done is bought something like this amazon.co.uk/dp/B07PH1M3TQ/ref=cm_sw_r_wa_apa_i_i-2dEbHYASZ94. Just plug and play straight into the controller. I bought a cable like this from Ali express for £2. Took a while to come but works just fine.

These are good. I use them driving on the motorway.
I’ve got these and I love them to bits.
I must have had a faulty pair. Sound was crackling when I was walking. Sent them back. Got a bunch of Anker products they normally top notch for the price. Not impressed with these tho 🤪
These are a steal. Cheers OP

I'm thinking a way round this might be to just directly connect to the TV audio via Bluetooth.

Think that should still do the same trick!

Anybody knows if you can connect 2 sources at the same time?
Ordered, and they are 90p cheaper today.
Thanks op ordered. Not showing voucher code now but price is £39.19
Great set of headphones. Nothing is incredible but for the money these are bang on.

There's a wire that comes in the soundcore bag that you can plug into the PS4 controller and the other end into your new headphones. Works for me, never talk to people online as mainly play single player these days, sound really good but yea I couldn't connect via Bluetooth either but wasn't really that bothered.
Thanks for posting; we've added this to the Highlights pages
Been thinking about getting the Sony WH-XB900N. What is the bass like on the Anker for people who have them?
Bought two pairs of these for the kids before Christmas - Anker had an offer on at the time - price was £51.99 but reduced to £40.
Kids love them and they are great for car journeys etc.
They also can't use them with the PS4 but I will try the tip from NinDemon - thanks.

Anyway, would recommend these for the price - great headphones, very comfortable, NC isn't brilliant but is good and as others have said the battery charge seems to last for ages.
Heated.
Any good for the gym?

Any good for the gym?

No good for the gym tried them. Not sweatproof and can't take any shock from cardio and certain lifts also won't stay on your head unless your still. The sound will crack . Travel use only I'd say. That's if you don't get a faulty pair that cracks anyway 😁 I went for some gym earbuds after looking into gym headphones, alot better.

I'm looking at the new Adidas ones 🏽
Shoudl note there has been a big announcement from the organisation who sets standards for bluetooth.

Basically they've announced low energy bluetooth audio, including a new codec called LC3 which claims to improve sound quality even though using LE bluetooth will use far less battery power.

The new protocols are included in Bluetooth 5.2 so a bit of a wait but expect early adoption in mid/late 2020.

No mention of latency. They really need to sort that out.

WIll certainly be interesting to see how it performs, it really will be amazing if they manage to improve the audio quality without a deterioration in the range etc.
