Great earphones at a good price.

I suppose they know that they don't need to reduce the price. There's no other earphones at this price that can shine above these beasties

Do these have a built in mic for use with a phone?

No.

Overrated - bought a pair a few weeks ago and disappointed. Weak bass and aren't loud enough, so if you're in earshot of general chit-chat in a public place, you can hear it even with these on max. Clarity is good and that's about it. Had a pair of JVC before these, similar style - can't remember the exact model - much better.

Thanks

these are great, had mine around 2 months now.

i'd honestly check whatever device you have them connected to, these are rarely beyond 75% volume for me and cancels out all surrounding noise. Did you try a couple of different ear moulds? it took me a few attempts to get them 100% to my liking

You need to make sure the seal in the ears is perfect, if not they will sound awful. I have 3 pairs of them and they all have foam tips, sound amazing.

Great pair of earphones
I prefer Foam tips too, much better sound then the rubber tips.

Got these after people were raving about them, huge step up from anything else I've owned, far more durable than anything in the 10-15 quid price range too, definitely recommend

These are great.

best earphones under £50. Heat

There is another version that does though, about a tenner more.

Had my trusty pair for 3 years now and still producing great sound.

As others have said, make sure you get a good fit in the ear before complaining about sound (same applies to any earphones).

I use these instead of both Bose and Shure which cost 5x more (I had a serious problem with spending too much money on headphones at one stage a few years ago!).

I twinned these with a Fiio headphone amp back when I had an iDevice. My good old HTC one x+ has 'beats' which just seems to be an internal amplifier setting.

In summary...buy buy buy!

Ordered as a spare to my current set excellent earphone at a great price thanks op

does anyone know how these are compared to a the senny cx300? mine are still great after many years but i just want to try something new

Are the E10S just the same as the E10's but with mic? The WhatHiFi review states:-

but other sites suggest the headphones are identical?

I have a pair which are about 3 years old which have more bass, they are a better sound, a recent pair I bought have less kick, but the quality is still very good. Don't know if this makes a difference.

Wrong colour. Shame.

Sorry but are you talking about the E10 or E10S? As far as I know the latter are a fairly new model? Were you using the same mp3 / phone? I'm in the market for new earbuds but don't want to splash out 40 quid on the E10S if the only difference is a built-in mic.

Wrong colour. Shame.

Yeah they have every colour at the lower price except the black/grey. I've seen the black/gold ones and the 'gold' is definitely more pink I'd say!

These are about the best you buy in earbuds under £50. Good price.

Checked the link and you can get USED ones - yeeeuucckkkk - even if there are different eartips, these things have been inside somebody's lugs oO

Heat give BTW

Is it for E10 Samsung? I did a bit of reading before I bought mine last year and I believe there's Samsung and iPhone editions.

Yikes! The bright red cord is awful.

Thanks for saving me a couple of quid. Been pondering over these or Sennheisers (CX300 II for £19.99 & CX475 for the same price (Argos)). Had a gift voucher from some time back so easier on the waller.

These are a good build quality but I found them a little lacking in bass for my liking. Despite the What H-Fi awards, I still prefer the sound of my cheaper JVC HAFX1X Xtreme Explosives which I didn't expect would be the case. The E10s are more balanced but I prefer the JVC's bigger sound and punchier bass so I tend to choose these over my E10's most of the time. One man's meat....etc

Have to admit I found the same; generally lacking in punchyness and bass.

Still leagues better than the any stock earbuds that come with a device, they just make me miss my lost Monster Turbines so much more

They aren't "bass heavy" so, yes, if you prefer the compressed boomy sound of that sort, these aren't for you.

No intentions at audio snobbery but there are definitely folks who find that kind of sound appealing. These are more of an open, "reference" sound, you're more likely to hear bits of detail you miss on the more bass-heavy style of ear-bud/headphone but they don't sound as "rich".

Errrr, no. Had mine a week and they are absolutely brilliant. Not perfect, but nowhere near how you describe. Maybe you got a faulty pair?

+1 Comply foam tips

Have these about 2 years from mp3nation I think the site was called. They sound brill for the price

Gold colour for same price.

I've had the Sennheiser CX-300 II, can't decide where to get these or the Xiaomi Piston 2.1 which I've also heard good things about

Thanks, ordered the Red. Should be easier to spot when hiding in the cracks of sofa etc
