The 80's had the best 80's music that's for sure.
Nearly had me hooked. All 3Cds in the range look great. Extra £1.26 delivery for me. No prime. But no autorip which I always think is a big bonus.
You just don't get this variety of music in the charts any more.
Can remember them all - singing them in my head as I read through the track list.

Point of order m'lud. Pop means popular and disco was certainly popular enough to make it into the charts

I know what pop stands for, thanks. Disco, however, was specific music designed for people to dance to in a discotheque. There are pop songs that aren’t dance songs, so, technically pop and disco are different genres. Cheers.

Indeed. The lack of Autorip puts these into a maybe pile.

I see where you're going wrong. You are thinking of pop as a genre when it isn't.

"There are pop songs that aren’t dance songs", I think that for most people, this is not a startling revelation.

"so, technically pop and disco are different genres". So basically you are saying a dance song can't be a popular song. Which means that about the only real 'pop' song on this triple album would be D1-20.
