For Win and Mac.

Stay Home. Stay Creative.

We’re staying home to protect our community and our team. We sincerely hope you are too. To help you make your home studio a happier one, we’re letting you use Soundtoys Effect Rack FREE through June 30.

It’s usually only available in the Soundtoys 5 bundle—but for this lockdown, we’re letting Effect Rack out.

Effect Rack is a creative multi-effects system that allows you to create custom effect chains. It’s a single, self-contained plug-in that comes preloaded with 14 full-featured Soundtoys effects that you can use within the Rack including EchoBoy and PrimalTap for delay, Decapitator and Radiator for rich analog saturation, and powerful rhythmic modulation and filtering from Tremolator and FilterFreak. The power of Effect Rack comes from its global controls. Once you’ve created your perfect combo, use the Recycle knob to create a feedback loop, the global Mix control for parallel processing, or save your effect chain as a preset.

You need to go to the "GET DEAL" link to receive an email with the activation code first. That email also includes your link to downloads for Mac and Win.
Thank you
Jumping in here to ask for advice - i'm looking for a reasonably* priced orchestra set for doing cinematic pieces - anyone have any recommendations?

bit gutted i never bought this if i'm honest: hotukdeals.com/dea…949

*resonably can, of course, mean anything - i'm not a pro, just a hobbyist, i would probably spend 150, so i guess that rules out most of the better ones.

I'm not quite sure what you are asking for.
Are you looking for a soft synth or something else?

Ah, fair question, i was thinking of a sample library, but tbh, if there was a soft synth (vst plugin) that someone could recommend for orchestral feels - that would also be considered
Thanks

It depends on what you are looking for and what you already have (both hard and soft). Also, what sort of spec and OS is your computer?
If you can give me a bit more info I can probably point you in the right direction.

However, this may help you out...

Is this free access to June?
So this isn't free forever?

Y'know what - this is perfect, ty. The first on that list is a free library: archive.org/det…1.0 this can get me started. My machine is a pretty low spec, Hackintosh.

The wording is slightly ambiguous so they could have made it clearer that this is a temporary license.
Other companies are doing the same but making it clearer.

Fair enough, I thought it was free to claim until June. maybe some people may wan't to try it out with a view to buying it if it's good. I was too quick on the trigger this time, because I actually signed up, lol.

I agree with @PeacePipe that their wording is a little ambiguous but as it says in their blurb...

"...we’re letting you USE Soundtoys Effect Rack FREE through June 30."

Keep your finger off that trigger (pad!) Lol
