+1, heat added.

Brilliant - I'll bookmark that for a day out.

Thank you.:D

Well worth the effort to go and visit this park, we had a ball there and we went in Feb, so much to see and interaction with the animals is second to none

heat added

Wouldn't it be cheaper for you to save the petrol and pay for a zoo nearer you?!

Entry is usually £11.50. if the OP were to detail this in the deal title I am sure it would get the heat it deserves - personally as a local to the zoo I think this deserves to be in the hottest deal of the week.

Lack of locality to the masses is probably stopping a few adding heating the deal but, regardless of distance it still deserves heating.

Don't forget also they have a new Baby Sumatran tiger at the park, I saw it a fortnight ago.

Sumatran Tiger Cub bornOn Tuesday 7th September Sumatran Tiger Alisha … Sumatran Tiger Cub bornOn Tuesday 7th September Sumatran Tiger Alisha gave birth to the parks first ever tiger Cub.On the 7th October, at just one month old Kadi, certainly hit the headlines. BBC Radio Cumbria’s reporter Neil Smith was first to break the news to the listening public on the early breakfast show and many of you will have either heard or perhaps seen her since on BBC and Granada news. As she is progressing so well, adding a few grams at the latest weigh-in, and I know many of you have been asking “when can we see her” Kadi will be able to be seen within the park from this Saturday. (And yes she is absolutely fantastically gorgeous!)Kadi can be seen in the parks vet centre. Follow the cubs’ progress on South Lakes Wild Animal Park official Facebook page.Mum Alisha and dad Padang arrived in the park in 2003 are both extremely important animals within the International Breeding Programme meaning Kadi is indeed a very important tiger. Although mating had been observed since the pair’s arrival, animal careers did not see a significant weight gain or behaviour change with the mother; hence the cub's arrival was a complete surprise.Alisha: Arrived at the park in July 2003. She is an extremely important animal in the international breeding programme with a rank of 3 in the genetic management programme. (This means she is the third most important animal to breed from). She was born in Berlin Tierpark in Germany 2002 Father: Padang arrived as part of the International Breeding Programme in September 2003. This tiger is an extremely important animal in the international breeding programme with a rank of 3rd male in the genetic management programme. (this means he is the third most important male to breed from). He was born in Dudley in the West Midlands in 2002.Critically Endangered there are only around 350 Sumatran Tigers known to exist in the Wild today and very few in captivity. It is the most endangered tiger left on the planet and South Lakes has become extremely well known throughout the world for its direct action programme to save this beautiful tiger in the wild. The Sumatran Tiger Trust was set up by the parks owner and has been the World’s top Sumatran tiger conservation Centre since 1996.
