Great Game. Also Cex Give £12 Trade On This

This is an awesome game. If you like South Park, you'll love this game.

Absolutely loved it. If you're a south park fan, no way you won't enjoy this game. Also 100% recommend getting the PC version for minimum censorship.

On a PC game? Is that right?

Yes

I do really want this but due to my back catalogue I am confident it will be sub £5 before I have time to play it.
Good price voted hot
Does this activate on Steam or Uplay ?

Yes

I'm not seeing that quoted on the website. In fact, it's hard to find anywhere that trades in PC games anymore.

SP:SoT is a Steamworks title so it needs Steam to run, doesn't it? After it's first activation it's pretty much worthless.

EXACTLY what I was thinking.
I'll hang fire on this. It'll get down to 3-4 quid before long. THEN I'll get it (it worked on several other games, by the way !)

Crikey, you're right, didn't spot that.

They're mad.

Very good price - it activates on Steam but the lowest price so far on Steam has been around £12.99 I think.

It's a Steamworks title, so no Uplay involved.

Amazon UK had the Steam code available for £8.99 at Christmas time, so that's the lowest before today I think. (http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/south-park-stick-truth-8-99-amazon-uk-steam-code-2098239)

This is a great price for a great game, absolutely loved it. If CeX are stupid enough to give you trade-in for it then it's a no-brainer at this price.

"(S)" on the CEX title indicates product must be sealed. That's how they get around Steamworks single activation, the games are in effect new.

This is totally true. I took a copy of Dishonored in there once. It has to be sealed when you take it in but they will open it when they buy it from you.

Going to see if Amazon will pricematch this, good find.

May I ask why exactly?

Are people genuinely desperate enough to go to the hassle of buying a £6.95 game which they can never play due to the lovely policy at Valve that refuses to let you sell on games (or indeed give them to charity shops - DAMN those evil charity shops eh, Valve?) all for just £1.05 profit? Those vouchers are only a daft option - they expire in about a week. So unless you pretty much visit Cex every day, or the wind is blowing in the right direction and the appropriate phase of the moon is current, you're never going to find anything to use that on. Unless you're not fussy I suppose...

Such a good game - I feel like I would know my way round should I ever wake up in South Park as it's so well translated from the TV show. Only downside is that it's a little short - but SO worth it!

Don't forget 2% quidco!

Can you legally sell on your (used/played) GoG games now? I don't think so. Or Origin? Or Uplay. I wouldn't use this as a reason to beat up on Valve. Everybody else is the same.

Personally I have £20+ in amazon vouchers, so would buy it instantly at this price on Amazon. How do you ask them to price match?

Edit: Just looked it up. They don't.

Scroll down to product details, it says tell us about a lower price.

Don't forget if you don't have Prime, they will charge you delivery mate.

I'd prefer PC download at this price. Thanks though.

Edit: Have done this for both versions. Fingers crossed.

My question is more why someone would mention the price for this as an exchange on Cex. The thought that someone would actually go to the trouble of ordering a game they don't even want to make a £1.05 profit just boggles the mind. Besides all of which - this is a physical product here. Gog and the like have never sold physical products. Physical products being forced to become one-time use digital ones...? Well that's another matter altogether.

Did I get some sort of strange glitch, I went to order and it gave me a discount equal to the order making it £0.00

Couldn't agree more. It's a shame that the developers of the Family Guy metaverse game didn't even come close to reaching the same high standards as this and instead churned out a complete waste of the license.
The South Park game is a shining example of what game devs can achieve when they both love the source material and have time and have the authoritah (!) to release when they're ready and not a moment before.

Just gone up to £9.99 ;-(

Tried to glitch it but seeing this now- The requested quantity for "South Park: The Stick of Truth (PC) Unsealed" is not available.

Lots of Amazon vouchers to spend.

Sonicsez94's £12 credit minus £6.95 makes £5.05 profit? Also CeX vouchers last a 1000 years, not a week.
