It's not worth £25, money per point is allocated differently each year, could be more could be less dependant on the amount of profit that they make

Just signed up, no mention of the free points though.

It does mention the 2500 points on the home page though.

Either way can only be spent in certain co-op stores in the south, i thought the 2500 points was for turning up to a meeting anyhow.

Cheers, signed up me + wife

when you get your vouchers through you can actually exchange them for cash in store.. just so you all know

"You asked for an incentive for new members who join on line, we responded by arranging for 2,500 points (equivalent to a £25 spend) to be awarded to all new members who join via the website."

Brilliant....I already have a card but have applied for my husband and gone through okay...thanks for posting, fingers crossed!

"The following standards apply for points earned per pound spent in participating branches owned by The Southern Co-operative.
There is no minimum spend before points can be earned.

Food Retail
100 points for every £1 spent"

2500 points is what you would receive if you spent £25. In 2012 this would have been worth 12.5p

Is there a northern co-operative?

yeh so signing up you only get like 12.5p balance, i think people are thinking there get £25, bless
