Looks like a good deal for a petrol mower for under £100. It's not self-propelled but might still be suitable for people who don't need it to be.

Powerful 129cc petrol lawnmower, ideal for small to medium sized gardens. Compact and lightweight, this 40cm rotary mower is easy to push around beds and borders, curved edges and over obstacles. Featuring five cutting heights, this mower will help keep your lawn in top-notch condition, throughout the year.

Powerful air cooled 4-Stroke SMV petrol engine.
40cm cutting width.
5 cutting heights with central height adjustment - ranging from 25-75mm.
Large 45L Grass collection bag.
2900rpm no-load speed.

Good bit of kit, good post OP, thanks!!
My Sovereign mower was made by Husquavarna according to the sticker on it.... it's been ok but rather flimsey construction and not up to heavy usage. But at this price who can really grumble?
I bought a Sovereign petrol mower XSS40A and the recoil never worked from new.
I don't know how reliable sovereign is ?
Any idea where I can find a replacement ? Link please.
Thanks.

Bit worrying that Husquavarna are resorting to producing flimsy lower end stuff. They used to be up there close to Stihl for quality.

Mine is a few years old but I was a little surprised to see their name on the sticker... I guess it's like many companies, they make a cheaper product for certain markets and use a different name to differentiate the brands. Don't get me wrong, it isn't utter rubbish but the wheels are always bending in and out due to thin metal brackets used and the paint all rusting away from the chassis after a couple of years living in a shed.

Really these things are too cheap so many corners are cut and at £99 they're disposable really.
Good price, maybe worth paying the extra for a self propelled though if your lawn is a good size

I'm currently deliberating one on the 20% off via Ebay. It's a minefield as I've never had a petrol mower before!

I wouldn't recommend using one on a minefield

Which one are you thinking about instead of this one then?
