Space Pilgrim Episode I: Alpha Centauri Now Free on Steam For A limited Time

To the best of my knowledge they have announced it to be free forever.

There does indeed seem to be some confusion about whether this is free for a limited time or forever. As a precaution, I installed it - it's a point and click space adventure that has the added bonus of working perfectly in Linux via Steam's Proton (it's platinum-rated on protondb.com).

I like this game series... its only a simple game made with off-the-shelf art packs, but the story and implementation are really quite fun and it's a tiny download and can run on any old potato laptop without draining the battery as 3d games do, so good for if you want a little game to play when you're away from home.

This was an enjoyable enough effort.

Well worth the download.
