Series two of the sitcom SPACED features Tim and Daisy (Simon Pegg and Jessica Stevenson), two quirky young adults who posed as a professional couple in order to rent a flat in Tufnell Park, London. Tim is an assistant manager of a comic book store and an aspiring comic book artist while Daisy is an unemployed writer-journalist. Series two of the subversive comedy follows the developments in the relationships between the duo and their friends and neighbours and is a highly impressive, funny and clever continuation of the first series. The barrage of pop culture reference and unusual and innovative editing techniques helps SPACED to create a style of its own. SPACED has a distinctive cinematic quality that Simon Pegg and director Edgar Wright brought to the romantic zombie comedy SHAUN OF THE DEAD.

Great bargain, especially if you own series 1 already!

Series 1 available at HMV for £3.99 (thanks andywedge), so £6.98 for the entire series if you haven't seen any. It's a really good comedy. No, like, reeeaallly good.

You can get a definitive 3-disc set from Play for £8.99 (thanks whizzkid), only difference is that it has a few more extras than buying them seperately, but nothing earth shattering (music promos and cast interviews).

I think its worth paying extra for the 3-disc set as there is a featurette where the cast revisit the original locations and chat about the making of the series. Great stuff if you're a fan.

And I think the 3-disc features a special 'homage-ometer' option as well which is very interesting.

and an hour and a half featurette covering everything over the two series and a final 2 minute segment on what happens to Tim and Daisy. Certainly worth the extra!

Ahhhh, gotta love the fake gunfight scenes. pure genius!

:w00t:
That almost justifies getting the definitive set (I already have both seperately) - I rarely watch extras to be honest, though the homage-ometer sounds cool (I liked the one on Hot Fuzz). In fact they all do. Bah.

Time for the "give-seperate-dvd's-as-presents-and-buy-new-and-improved" cheap tactic I reckon...

He he, I like your style!

One of the most under-rated and excellent tv series ever. Love it.

Just finished watching the 2 seasons, a complete pleasure.

Amazing show. They don't make them like this anymore. Heat +++

Although it's worth paying extra for the 3 disc set, it is worth paying even more for the R1 version which has the cast reunion Q&A and new commentaries with the likes of Kevin Smith, Quentin Tarantino, Matt Stone, Diablo Cody, etc

The R2 3-disc cover is similar but a lot better.
