If you've got a mechanical inkling and fancy a bit of an assembly job this is both challenging to assemble and mesmerising to watch. It's a construction kit to build your very own marble run.

I got one for Christmas and was so amazed by it went back for another and found them 25% off in store @ £11.25

Says for ages 14+, however think that a teenager might need a bit of dad help to construct

I nearly bought something the same or similar from Amazon as a Xmas gift for my daughter - thank heavens I bothered to read the reviews! Sounds like a complete nightmare to build. A bullet dodged methinks.

I got a glow in the dark one of these to give my daughter a couple of years ago for Christmas, plan was to put it together beforehand & give it finished. Still sitting there not complete, not saying it's impossible but you need patience!!

Jools, get in there and finish it before the year ends - you know it's the right thing to do
More I read this thread, more I regret buying! Destined to sit next to the waffle maker probably

Don't regret it, revel in it. There's a great feeling when you get it working
