This is the DDR2 version in case anyone was wondering - it's in item title on ebuyer. Not as fast as the DDR3 flavour but not a bad card the price (nothing flashy though as it's 128 bit and just 256mb DDR2)

Yes it does but not VC-1 (HD-DVD). All 8500/8600 cards support this but the 8800 doesn’t. I doubt this card supports HDCP though as it’s optional on the 8500/8600 GT but the 8600 GTS has it by default I believe.

Gigabyte make a fanless 8500 GT with HDCP; Dabs and Scan stock it usually.
