Sparks card discount on food, double up with dine in for £10 deal @ Marks and Spencer

If you have a Sparks card, check your emails, I had an email today with a one off threshold spend deal of £2 off £10 spend. You must click through the email to activate the offer and then add it to your card.

I've just been into my local M&S and picked up a dine in for £10 and paid £8 after scanning my Sparks card.

The vouchers seem to vary from customer to customer depending on how often you shop at M&S, some people have got £2 off £15, £1.50 of £25 etc but it's worth a look if you're planning on doing a shop.

The dine in offer also has an £8.50 bottle of Cava as part of the deal, I got this, Rump steaks, potatoes and chocolate puddings. My items should have come to £19.71 but I paid £8!

I had an email about it today, I don't know if you have to click through the email to activate the offer. Might be worth checking.

Oh that's a shame. I had that one as well, I wonder if it's for shoppers who haven't spent in a while?
I have £2 off £15 where as my mum who has more points has £5 off a £50 spend, she rarely if at all spends that amount.

I think that's the case, those who don't spend often or at all benefit more. The trick us to have a couple of cards, for example both my partner and I have one and we alternate what we use to get maximum deals.

Probably the case!!
I do that with Ocado, as they tend to send out 10% for delivery the next day from time to time if you don’t shop with them often!

Yes my husband and I do that too. It’s silly how they work it, their so called targeted offers can be pretty random and don’t make sense. As if 20% off something I never eat is going to encourage me to buy it. Don’t get me wrong I’ve had some decent offers in the past but my mum hasn’t and she’s a loyal customer so it certainly doesn’t pay in her case.
I got £1.50 of £15

Another tip is to split your shopping, keep one part a low amount and actually do not use your sparks card and watch out for the money off coupon come out with your receipt.Worked for myself 80% off the time.

I hardly ever use my Sparks card (except when there's a decent offer) and I got £2 off £10 spend.
Mine’s £3.50 off £25. Oh well, I’m on a diet anyway...

It's a case of those who spend little or those who don't shop often that tend to get the better deals. Those with higher points get less money off etc.

I spend enough at that shop so I wouldn't classify as a little amount. Jumbo fish fingers at £3.50
