SPC ECO (pronounced Space Echo) is the musical project of Dean Garcia (best known as former 'Eurythmics' live bassist and one half of noise popsters 'Curve') and his daughter Rose Berlin Garcia.

2+2=5 is a free downloadable Radiohead song cover on their bandcamp page, and is a different take on the song with Rose Berlin Garcia's ethereal vocal.

If anyone was a fan of 'Curve' or for that matter any other shoegaze/dreampop artists, then I suggest you check out their other stuff if not familiar.

Check out the rather brilliant Alan Moulder (Curve, NiN, Foals, Jesus & Mary Chain, Deathcab For Cutie, Puscifer etc) producers remix of SPC Eco song 'Fallen Stars' here.

Cheers, their stuff is definitely worth checking out, especially I feel last years album that 'Fallen Stars' was taken from 'Sirens and Satellites' if you like your noise pop.

Thanks I'll look into it. I've been mostly checking out new wave music lately. Check out Le Cassette - Left to our own devices, quite a strange mix of songs. I thought Tokyo Blues was good, definitely liked the chiptunes of 1-UP.

Great tune. Very good cover

Yes I know it an open forum. Maybe you should save your comments for an audiophile site instead.

Why? Touched a raw nerve that I am of the belief that MP3s are not helping push music technology forwards?

No raw nerve has been affected. I may actually agree with your techno rant. However, I don't believe this is the right time or place to air your views given the obvious antagonising opinion you are creating with other forum members. They and myself would rather prefer comments relating to the value of the deal rather than the techno instricasies of the medium in question.

I hardly set to antagonise...I wrote an opinion with links...it is not my fault people chose to get in a flap about it all. Their replies antagonised tbh.
