Handy little PIR solar light, ideal for lighting paths etc. Had my eye on them on screwfix under the LAP brand for £20.99 but they've appeared in home bargains at £5.99 for what appears to be exactly the same thing. Put it up last night and I'm reasonably impressed at the quality and brightness of the light.

I have 2. Really good. Great deal.
Realistically how bright is this? Been a bit skeptical with the solar powered ones. And how far does the PIR go?
Just what im looking for thank you! Im also interested in seeing answers to donerkebabs questions as I am thinking of going to buy four tomorrow
Specs are on the screwfix link doner, basically it's good for finding your keys or illuminating a step. It's 80 lumen so not meant to be a security light or anything like that, although they do a solar security light there too.

I got one exactly the same, but branded by Rolson from TK Maxx for £7.99.

We have it over the rear door from the kitchen to the deck ,and the light emitted is not great to be honest, and it took a full day of charge before it would work with the PIR.

If anyone is thinking of using this as a PIR security light, then don't bother. Its just the same as the typical LED solar fence lights.

Yeah it's 80 lumen so not designed for that task, like I've said above there's an actual solar security light available for that task.

Thanks for that - barely enough light to see his hand directly below the light - I will go for the security light instead.

Is the solar security light for sale in Home Bargains as well? Couldn't see anything today when I went in.
