Can anyone recommend this as I like my children to read something more interesting. I have seen a few reviews which mentioned about too many adverts.

Thanks

This is a fantastic magazine, loads of puzzles for kids to do. very educational, my daughter loves it. I also read it as well! Highly recommended. I purchased with Tesco vouchers.

My 11 year old daughter's been getting it for the last 12months and has asked for a renewal for her birthday/xmas. if your kids are interested in nature then they'll love this - it's a brilliant magazine.

The only thing to be wary of is make sure you get a subscription to the UK version (this link appears to be and Tesco promised me theirs is).

NGK's website tends to send you by default to the US version (which is pretty cheap to subscribe to) but you end up with magazine articles about planting your gardens to attract hummingbirds (in Glasgow?? Anyway my friends in Texas tell me their aggressive & territorial - the birds, not the Texans - and you don' want them in your garden), discounts in shops 5000 miles away & you miss out on the freebies on the front cover.
